What motivates you to do your best in school and at work?
In school, I am motivated by several factors. What motivates me to do my best in school is the desire to pass my exams and achieve the best grade. I know well that if I do not pass I will not graduate and I will be traumatized for having to repeat another year or be discontinued from school. Hence, I will do my best to ensure that I get the best grade that would keep in school. Another motivation is the pity and empathy I have for my parents. The sacrifice they have made to ensure I go to school and to sustain me is immense. With full recognition of their relentless efforts, I always strive to do my best not to fail or disappoint their good intention, sacrifice, and wonderful support. I gain intrinsic motivation augmented by the desire to build my career and become knowledgeable in my area of specialization.
At work, I am motivated by the desire to do a good job that will be successful. With the awareness that working hard, smart and with perseverance is the way to achieve greater professional success, I remain motivated each and every day I go to work. Right from the time I wake up in the morning, I am set that I will need to do what I am supposed to do and attain success. The more I achieve successful results, the more I get motivated to do more. My efforts become rejuvenated after I succeed in doing something I have been working on. I always work towards becoming the best, because I know that by becoming the best, I will advance in my career smoothly. Hence, my motivation both at school originates from the desire to become successful in whatever I do.
