The researchers had a lot of interest in the field of the applied and social psychology of music. The significant interest in the research was on the listening habits that influence the different personnel. There is emerging emphasis basing on social media, the connection between emerging technologies and the digital music precepted form one individual to the other. The researcher had an opportunity to participate as a speaker in the Pint of Science conference. The information that was shared was on the influence of the music to the wellbeing. The researcher has had a lot of platforms and forums where data has been shared on the impacts of music on the daily listening of various songs and video plays.

The problem in this research under consideration is on everyday listening habits. Most emphases were based on the connection between emerging technologies, social media, and digital music. The primary problem was impacting on the young generation who are carried away by the dynamic technology that is taking its base at a high note. Most people are found to be listening to digital music and watching of the social media videos with little knowledge on the impacts it has on their ears and health. The subject in this study are the youths and a small group of adults who like music. The listening habit is developed every day with significant impactors being social media and digital music.

The findings that were derived out of the research were that social media and digital music are the major contributors to the habit of listening. The practice of listening is of influence to the hearing and thus creating a scenario that is not pleasing at all, thus making the people in the music industry to gain more disease.
