O'Keeffe's name came to be known in a male-dominated field. However, her emergence as an outstanding artist should inform women in the society that they are capable of doing what seems to have been reserved for men. Furthermore, in the society, women should be given a platform to exercise their talents since this is the only way they can get perfection in men dominated sectors.

In 1915, at the Columbia College in South Carolina, O'Keeffe locked herself in the studio and started working on her art alone, the event depicted that she trusted herself despite being a woman. If it were other people, she would have called for assistance from men. Stieglitz was an ardent supporter of O'Keeffe, but after his death, O'Keeffe stood firm in her career and sustained herself, thus showing an extraordinary strength to be manifested in women.

Celebrating O'Keeffe as a female painter has the possibility of making one forget that painting was her talent, and she believed in her capabilities. Women don't need to thrive in male-dominated sectors, but if one has a talent, then she is right to explore it regardless of who dominates the industry.

After the end of World War 2, women were perceived to be a domestic goddess, and their duties would revolve around making their husbands happy irrespective of education. In her book, Friedan yearns to the point that women should be allowed to exercise what they love and not confined to domestic activities.

In 2019, women were noted not to fight for what they used to fight for in the 1960s. In 2019, women became engrossed in political rights as opposed to fighting for their talents.

In her book, Friedan emphasizes women to pursue education as opposed to being domestic women as she deemed that education is the only tool to bring equity between men and women in America. In society, women have been pressurized to be homemakers, and there is a need to eradicate such perceptions.

The 1968 Miss America pageant, the first black American woman, emerged the winner, and at this time, there was a cultural conflict between white and African-American women. During this period, Dr. Martin Luther Jr. had been known to fight for the rights of people of color. With the winning of the pageant by black American women, the political class saw blacks as a threat, and Dr. Martin Luther Jr. was perceived to be their leader. The only way to silence the blacks was through the assassination of their activist Dr. Martin Luther Jr.

In her drawing of a pregnant woman, Neels has displayed how radical she is by drawing a naked pregnant woman. The drawing shows that she is ready to unearth all the challenges which women go through without any fear.

Neels supports the fact that women should be given a platform to exercise their rights. Furthermore, it shows that women are not cowards, and they can fight for what rightfully belongs to them.

The Neels nude drawing of pregnant women sparks the discussion that inquest of fighting for their rights, women can lose morals and display to the public what should remain private. It can be deduced that women should be considered in society to avoid such uncalled displays, as shown by Neel in her art.

In her drawings, Simons has displayed various roles which the community has perceived to be reserved for women. For example, in one of her pictures, she presents a woman and utensils, and, in another drawing, a woman is seen performing cleanliness hence displaying ger position in the society.
