Introduction
Consumers and businesses in the world are increasingly seeking nontoxic and safer products. Consequently, most entrepreneurial companies are incorporating sustainable designs that enable them to produce biodegradable products. The sustainability strategies allow companies to design better, cleaner, and healthier products. Method, an entrepreneurial consumer products company, has a unique sustainability strategy seen in both scope and the anticipated problem it is out to solve. Adam shows an amicable dedication to reducing the health threats posed to humans from exposure to toxic materials in their everyday lives. Therefore, Adam’s company innovativeness makes it an outstanding company that offers a solution to the chemical hazards posed by non-biodegradable chemical substances every day. As such, Adam Lowry should push forward with his plans to manufacture PLA- based (polylactic acid) products in China. Because the planet's health and environmental sustainability may depend on the use of sanitary products, Lowry should proceed with his plan to manufacture PLA-based products in China.
Despite Adam Lowry’s proposal being turned down by all US PLA manufactures, perhaps due to lack of technology or unwillingness to incorporate his idea in their companies, Lowry found a company in China that is willing to assist his dreams of producing clean products to become true. More so, the availability of a reliable Taiwanese fiber manufacturer makes it easy and cheaper. Additionally, the location also minimizes the use of fossil fuel in terms of transport fuel. Chinese nonwoven cloth company also can convert, cut, and package the bales from Taiwan into a form that meets the Method's needs.
Furthermore, China has experienced a swift industrialization rate and stable economic growth since the late 1970s (Larson, 2011). China is today considered the world's largest manufacturing economy and is also among the most competitive markets in the world. China's economy that was initially driven by the ability to provide low-cost raw materials and labor, China has quickly risen to be one of the most competitive drivers in terms of infrastructure, supplier network, favorable policies, and a large consumer base (Larson, 2011). Lowry should thus grab the golden opportunity created by China through its highly developed manufacturing capabilities from low-cost products to premium products.
Besides, increased global emphasis on sustainability, environmental protection, and human health gives Adam an upper hand in the market. Safe home cleaning products that are pleasant smelling, stylishly packaged, and biodegradable have proved to be the new path for the Chinese and global populations. Moreover, incorporating the aspect of ecological and human health concerns in their strategy made Modern's innovation right for business.
Also, the global market for PLA consists of Asia Pacific, Europe, America, the Middle East, and Africa. Among these markets, the Asian Pacific market is estimated to grow at the highest rate in the period ranging from 2017-2013 due to its stable economy and rapid growth of packaging and automotive industries (Larson, 2011). China is centrally located in the Asian Pacific, and the neighboring countries like Malaysia, Thailand, India, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea are expected to provide a large market for the Method's PLA products in the region. The increasing demand for packaged food and ready to eat meals is most likely to increase the need for flexible packaging requirements, which will propel the demand for PLA products.

In conclusion, China has programs for the preparation of essential chemicals by using non-oil resources, and more preparation technologies and developments are under research. China has commendable progress in some areas, such as establishing a Carbon (IV) Oxide gas-phase catalytic synthesis of dimethyl oxalate and oxalic acid (Lu, 2009). The progress in research and industrialization of eco-friendly materials in China is faster than in some developed countries. However, the market share of the PLA and other eco-products is low, and there is no competitiveness in the markets (Lu, 2009). Adam Lowry and Eric Ryan should grab the opportunity and set their company in China as the technology, and raw materials are available for the company.
