My motivation to pursue criminal justice began after real the challenges that the community is having on matters concerning research to ensure justice is attained. When working as a General Manager in a French restaurant in New York, I have witnessed a lot of crime happening, and the perpetrators roam freely in the city. It should not be the case as such criminals, if not charged for their crimes, are likely to continue irresponsible behavior and cause more damage to the community. It is for this reason that I feel a PhD in criminal justice will have a lasting impact on my life as well as the society and the criminal justice system.

My academic and professional career has been of great success, as I have always had a zeal and drive to ensure that I have achieved my goals. Once I decide to pursue a particular objective, I work towards it without giving up. When seeking my master's degree in project management, I had a leadership role in my fraternity, where I served as the president. I have achieved my goals through my determination and hard work, as I have always maintained high work ethics.

Currently, I am working as a General Manager in a French restaurant in New York City. In the army, I will be responsible for protecting the United States territory, which is why it is essential that I learn how to handle crime.
