Music analysis primarily means the study of the musical structure in either the performance and composition. The method that is mainly employed is answered the question of what is meant by the words of the song. Some of the main aspects to consider are the deeper meaning of the song and word choice. Word choice is important in creation of something that the audience can connect and relate to.

Composition and rhythm also play a crucial role in establishing what the song is about. These aspects are essential to consider when analyzing a movie as they give the audience something to think about (Hamanaka, Hirata, & Tojo, 2016). Consequently, the chorus of the song is another import part as it plays the eye-catching role for the audience (Hamanaka, Hirata, & Tojo, 2016). Songwriter communicates to the audience through the choice of their words and their style of writing they use.

Sorrow

The choice of the title of the song is interesting as the band chooses a title that the audience can remember. The song can be said to be a love song as the singer talked more about how he feels about her lover. In this context, he is trying to propose, and he is asking her lover to say yes. Primarily, for an individual who has been hurt, it is very to yield love. In the song the singer is so much in love that he assures the girl that everything will be okay and that she should forget about her insecurities and inhibitions. In this case, it is frustrating for the singer she is madly in love with the girl.

Primarily, the snow patrol is excellent sensual imagery. "I'm aching, and I know you are too. For the touch of your warm skin. As I breathe you in." These lines of the song indicate the physical closeness that surrenders people hearts.

Additionally, it is challenging to find an individual who will work hard to beat down those walls (Snow Patrol, 2019). Primarily, this is what makes the song so sweet. Likewise, the choice of words on the song is import as they form the part through which the audience can relate to the song and connect with the message of the song (Snow Patrol, 2019). Moreover, the choice of instruments such as the guitar and the piano perfectly complement the song and word choice.

Comparison of the Two Song

The two songs pass a different message to the audience in that "Sorrow" by "The National" band is about sadness while "Just Say Yes" is about love. Moreover, the choice of words is adequate in both the song as they repeat the same words all through. The words that are commonly repeated in the two songs are "Sorrow" and "Just Say Yes" (Hamanaka, Hirata, & Tojo, 2016).

Confidently these words are the topics of the song, making them memorable for the audience. Furthermore, the choice of instruments in both songs perfectly fit the theme of the song. The two songs correctly connect with the audience they can relate to the message in the songs. As the songs are played the audience sings along the singers a clear indication that the songs connect perfectly with the audience.

The main difference in the songs is the primary theme were as one is about sadness while the other is about love. Moreover, the rhythm in the songs are different as for the "Just Say Yes" is faster than the rhythm on the sorrow the rhythm and the play of the beats are slower (Hamanaka, Hirata, & Tojo, 2016). Moreover, the word choice in the two songs is different in the way that in one song, the words are about happiness and in the other song, the words about sadness.

In conclusion, music analysis helps the audience understand the message that the songwriter and the singer are trying to pass. Some of the main aspects to consider when doing music analysis are word choice, and instruments played, repetition of words, connection to the audience, them of the song and theme of the song. Both the songs the "Sorrow" and "Just Say Yes" meet the criteria.

The songs have different meaning and theme, but their connection to the audience is magnificent. Consequently, the word choice in any song is critical as it needs to connect with the audience and create a memorable experience. This is evident n both songs as the repetition of words in the song creates an unforgettable experience.
