Introduction

The film represents the rhetoric of the people of the white race where they pretend they are not racist while in real case they are. There are different scenarios where the people from the black race have been tricked that their dignity is valued, but after some time, the truth is later found that they wanted to get some favor from the whites friends. Get out film consist of two lovers Rose and Chris who were in love and wanted to get married but later Chris realized that he was being tricked into getting into a trap so that his organs could be used by the members of the family of Rose to treat various diseases that they were suffering from.

Among the critical cultural critics is in the form of the class were rose and Chris come from two different social classes. Chris thought that love would make them leave behind the classes that they come from and focus on establishing their own life despite the difference in social class that they come from (Jordan 2017). The rhetoric in social class is that Chris is treated as a poor person in the manner that the relatives of Rose ask questions and treat him. Jeremy the brother to rose use remarks about African-American and house they face poverty challenges. The remarks put off Chris when he is considered and treated as a poor person.

Chris faces difficulties staying on the home of his girlfriend rose because he was treated differently in the manner he is asked questions about his life (Jordan 2017). Rose mother was eager to now the past of Chris an issue that intimidated Chris. Chris was nervous from the beginning on how the family of Rose would behave bearing in mind that they come from different races and social classes.

One of the dilemmas presented in the movie is proving that racial discrimination does not exist. Chris is engaged to Rose, and then he decides that he will go to meet Rose's family. Although his friend who is also an African American and a cop warns him, he has made his mind (Jordan 2017). He thinks that all is well and that Rose loves him. Rose is presented as an advocate of equality. When the police confront them, and Chris is asked to present his national identification card, Rose tells him not to produce his card because he has not done anything wrong. In this case, Rose feels that the cop is confronting Chris because of his race. Chris was not the one who was driving, and the car had insurance, so hitting of the deer was a genuine accident. Through the movie, the audience can see that racial profiling is real because the cop never asked Rose to present her identification card just like Chris.

The other value presented in the movie is the value of animal life. When Rose and Chris hit the deer, they feel sad, and they stopped their car. Chris walked to the scene to see if the deer could be saved (Jordan 2017). This shows that he values animal life and what happened was an accident. In the United States, people are encouraged people animals are kept in homes as a pet. This makes them value animal life and when an accident happens such as in this case the person feels bad. If Chris found that the animal was not dead but was only injured probably, he could have saved it.

The different cultural differences between rose and Chris indicates the struggles that many people go through while they are trying with cultural differences (Jordan 2017). The film shows how people face challenges breaking the cultural barriers because of the stereotypes that people have. The film exposes how the white race regards African American to be slaves. For instance, all the workers of the rose family were blacks clear indication that blacks cannot become successful; they are meant to serve the blacks. The white supremacy is also indicated by the police officer that discriminate Chris even if he was not driving the car that hit deer.

Chris attends a party organized by Rose's family but is confronted by the attendees who describe him to poor with bad qualities. The verbal attacks from the attendees make Chris freak out. The political class has been reluctant over the years to change the norm of racial and social discrimination among the people. The society remains divided along racial and social class, and this does not help in the growth of the country. The solution to the challenges affecting society is by giving equal opportunities to all the people. The structure of society needs to be changed to allow people to live together despite their social classes. The moral lesson from the get out film is that not all friends mean well to you; hence one needs to be careful when choosing friends.
