I agree with Scott that regulatory burdens can be significant indicators that sector is about to under a disruption. Notably, the industries with high regulation often suffer a complacency based on the fact that they do not worry much about the experience that their consumers have as well as the optimizations of operations. These techniques assist in attracting them quickly so that they can remain to be an important part of the industry. In most cases, this situation always occur when the consumers have no options or choice to choose from. In the case of e-commerce companies such as online groceries and Amazon, they are driven into Oligopoly.

However, an impending separation in any industry primarily in the United States is reasonably predictable. Through wisdom regarding its predictability, numerous opportunities can be realized. Market leaders must, therefore, strive to understand the current level of disruption in addition to its susceptibility for potential disruption. Broadly, these entails the assessment of the presence and market penetration of companies, the financial performance of the leaders, and the operational efficiency of an organization in addition to its commitment to innovation.
