One great challenge that has since risen is the ownership and the issuance of the unlicensed guns. Gun Control Discussion

Raising arguments against and for gun control, one can argue the whole day but the way the world is acting, it is important to protect those whom we love and our property in general. It is my great belief that the United States has moved away from some of the concepts that made the country great. On the other hand, the media has also been viewed to be complicit in handling this by coming up with the various headlines that are more of horror stories hence increasing their fame or the general market share. Social media has also been used to spread negative opinions about guns and this has led to great disaster.

Taking a look at the past shootings, they have been viewed to have in the past focused on the mental health crisis in the country, rather than making use of guns. Considering what is going on, it is part of the failure to have individuals take responsibility for their actions that is condoned by the media and politicians in general.

It is important to note that during the year 2013, what transpired on the state of the Union speech was that the former President of the United States Barack Obama touched on the serious problem of gun control which is one close topic to the American hearts. In history, nowhere is America's hurt, frustration, and anger over gun control more than on Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, Tumblr and Snapchat and Facebook.

From what psychological studies have demonstrated before, it has been clear that social media sites encourage more emotional and more uninhibited characters than another medium of communication. As a result, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube have become a platform where America's population is expressing their frustration, hurt and anger over gun control.

Focusing on some of the timelines of most emotionally charged social media moments in the debate that have been raised about the general gun control debate are expressed below:

- July 23, 2012@ Guns deaths Launched to Record Gun Violence.
- The 18,000 followers in the account must have quietly viewed the suicide, accidents and the homicides that are taking place daily in most American lives.

From such incidents, to truly make sure that the social challenges are fixed, one great challenge that exists is making use of firearms. Putting a blame on some of the wicked things in society is not a solution. Using social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter to put all the blame on the gun is failure and individuals are supposed to take responsibility for making others not to take responsibility for their actions.

Gun control is one of the most controversial discussions in the United States of America. Despite being the most developed in terms of democracy, the U.S leads with the most cases of mass gun shootings killing innocent and unarmed civilians. Furthermore, various arguments against gun control have been raised and tracked through social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and SnapChat. Some of the arguments against gun control are discussed below.

To begin, guns are meant for protection for both the human life and the properties from intruders or assassins. It is important to note that in America, it's a constitutional right for the citizens to have guns to protect themselves and their homes. So, one can argue, guns are needed for defense from criminals as stipulated in the constitution or rather than to complement other methods of self-defense. Though no one can anticipate the attacks, it is better to be armed for any eventualities. From some of the tweets of the U. S president, Donald J. Trump, Fact-the tighter the gun laws, the more violence. The criminals will always have guns, after the Florida school killing, is clear proof that guns should be made available to the citizens for defending themselves from criminals.

Guns shouldn't be controlled because guns don't kill but people do. In the world all over, cases of deaths are common which can be attributed to various means. Therefore, even if we are living in an ideal world, human beings will always kill fellow human beings. According to the Geraldine tweet, if we ban guns they will just find another way. So, it is true that not only guns kill people, but people will kill with the only difference being the magnitude.

Controlling guns will be a violation of the second amendment, additionally, it is extremely difficult to disarm all citizens but is the responsibility of the government to ensure thorough inspection and increase the regulation on the types of guns issued to the citizens.

However, blames have been on the mental health of the perpetrators even though psychiatrists have the power and capacity to evaluate the disturbed individuals in the society for hospitalization. Moreover, mental illness is more of a state issue and also people have civil rights. The case of the Parkland and the Florida community shooting was entirely pegged on mental health and not intentional, therefore shouldn't form the basis of gun control arguments.

Deaths associated with guns should not be the main driver for their control. People need guns the same way they need cars and drugs. It is true that cars kill people through accidents even though they are not designed to kill and that's why there are regulations ranging from the age limit and the training before one is licensed to drive. The same case applies to drugs, though one should be diagnosed before given treatment and there are various legislations on the drugs. People will always illegally smuggle the drugs as are the guns. Following the controversial tweet by the American Rifleman, Good morning shooters. Happy Friday! Weekend plan! and the tweet by GABY, School Principal: A job that now requires a bullet-proof vest when she retweeted @NRA #gun control. Another case is when Donald Trump's son posted on his Instagram page his personal shotguns are just indicators that having guns is becoming more of a necessity for every American citizen.

With what is being experienced in social media about gun control, feelings of depression and powerlessness are bound to impact individuals on the modern America gun massacre. It is important that through every platform available, one would work on getting something done so as to do away with some of the increasing occurrences that are associated with Manslaughter. Literally, it is important to operate with the notion that neither are measles the worst form or even the only form of the infectious disease is disease, however, the vaccination process has in the past helped in raising the health of the general public. Restricting or even making guns illegal helps in making the broader work of making sure that violence is more plausible.

The social science on gun violence is viewed to be inconclusive since it is identified to be impossible in coming up with a controlled experiment that is real. Instead of creating awareness on how mass shootings can be prevented in social media, different misinformation is trending on the banning of guns. Fear is now currently used when it comes to the driving of viral content on Twitter. Fear, on the other hand, are now being driven by various # tags like # gun control and has been viewed to have little impact on the general change.
