As postmodernism and feminine writer, Lispector has relentlessly addressed the psychological issue of existence and love. This is seen in the novel on love where Anne discovers herself after meeting the blind man who is comfortably chewing gum. The events that follow this encounter are worthy of discussion.

Borges, on the other hand, is an n Argentinian writer born in 1899 in a town in Buenos Aires. Is known for his factious stories and poems. As a master of several languages, he developed a psychological perspective on issues affecting them at the moment, war.

Though both writers address the psychological problems, Lispector address loves and belonging while Borges deals with the theme of war and survival tactics at that time. All these are interrelated in a way. Lack of love leads to rejection which results in fear and strives, the two leads to a misunderstanding which results in war and conflict.

The two authors are closely related because all of them are pioneers of writing in their respective countries. Lispector Clare in Brazil and Borges in Argentina. Lispectors work has been translated in various languages and is widely read all over the world just like Borges 'whose work has been praised by the highly known literary figures like Julio Cortazar and Carlos Fuentes.

Their books have received critical acclaims basing on their various themes. Clare, for instance, was acclaimed for sensitively interpreting adolescence in her first novel ' Near to the Wild Heart ' written in 1944. She also achieved international recognition basing on her highly personal and existentialist perspective on human dilemma. He was invited to the USA and lectured in several venues. He was also awarded a job as a librarian and a lecture because of his groundbreaking writing skills. Conclusion

As seen above, the two writers address the contemporary issue in their times. A sense of belonging primarily to the modern female gender and the world wars in the 20th century that explains how people strived to survive the strive that existed in the world. The sense of belonging is still a central point of worry and discussion even up to date.
