Introduction

Gender had been an issue of various institutional interests as from the time immemorial. People have undertaken gender issue as one of the responsive element in the society, and it has been supported by some global and international body entities that advocate rights and voices of women across the globe. Gender remains unique with a lot of questions that surrounds those institutions and body of laws which enforced issues towards gender dilemmas. Therefore, this paper illustrates differences between the institutional, social and legal regulations of gender across the globe.

To start with, the issue of gender discrimination at the man times undermines respect as well as the dignity of the victims and then makes it hard to work, to get hold of housing, to obtain an education, or to fit into places and in other activities of life. However, the federal administration has laws to defend people suffering from gender prejudice. Additionally, a lot of states have laws of civil rights of their own that mirror laws in the federal stage, so every state might have its laws which are very much related to those recognized by the global entity in which in some states put forward greater protections. On the other hand, municipalities such as counties and cities can endorse laws and ordinances that are related to civil rights.

Therefore, the following are some examples of the legal framework that protect gender issues

The act of 1964 of the Civil Rights: Title VII it advocates for same employment opportunities for all people regardless of sex. Additionally, this Act of 1964 of the Civil Rights protects people against discrimination in various areas. For example, Title VII limits human resources discrimination as well as harassment based on race, sex, color, national origin and religion which includes limited proficiency in English. Another areas of legal framework of gender-related issue is Equal Credit Opportunity Act that guarantees equal chance to get hold of credit along with prohibitions of creditors from discriminating people against credit applicants basing on their sex, familial status, religion, race, color, national origin and age, or for the reason that an applicant always receive income from a community support program (Lorber 123).

Another legal framework that protects gender issues is Fair Housing Act which forbids bigotry in the rental, sale, financing and housing based on familial status, race, sex, color, national origin, disability, and religion. Also, Equal Pay Act of 1963 calls for all employers to pay all human resources uniformly according to their work done, in spite of whether the human resources are female or male.

Additionally, the Family and Medical Leave Act gives human resources the authentic right of taking time off from official duties to care for a lately adopted youngster or a baby, or looking after an ill family member. Pregnancy Discrimination Act is another legal framework that protects gender issues. The Discrimination Act of Pregnancy limits employment intolerance against female employees who intend or who are to become pregnant and not limited to discrimination in hiring, unlawful termination and failure to promote.

Additionally, another legal framework that protects gender issues is the Title IX Amendments to Education 1972. Titles IX forbids sex prejudice in all programs of education which receives national funds, to raise educational and sporty chances for female gender in schools along with colleges countrywide. To add on, American Title Code 42, Chapter 21 of Civil Rights, it forbids prejudice against individuals based on their gender, race, national origin, age, disability, and religion and among other key aspects in various settings such as education, buildings, federal services, employment, access to businesses and other more elements. However, Chapter 21of U.S Code of conduct is where various national acts connected to civil rights are codified and not limited to the Act of 1866 Civil Rights, Act of 1964 Civil Rights and the Civil Rights of Persons Act Institutionalized (Lorber 156).

Social laws have significant impacts on women regarding their economic empowerment. Therefore, the effect of social regulations on the lives of women can be demonstrated by the following instance. One by denying women right of acquiring, dispose and managing of an asset in their name hence by so doing, it limits women's economic opportunities, bargaining power, and productivity within their household as well as more generally in their relationships as a family. By having the inability of making good use of land as security limits women's entrance to credit, that in turn transforms into a partial capability of taking economic advantage of opportunities, like establishing micro enterprises and investing in land with a sole purpose of making it more fruitful. Additionally, land titling is designed to see and eases women landowners for registering land within their names that have been established to raise access to land for female gender in particular hence by so doing; it aims in improving the productivity of land (Doan 245).

In many institutions, people have been segregated in various obligations based on their gender, and this has adversely affected female gender. Issues concerning public interests such as political development have been discriminating women, and most political offices have been awarded men considering that they have more ability to handle problem more than a female can do. Women in many times and as from time immemorial, men have been superior at the same time women have been inferior in the society. This has led women to be deemed as the household who should remain in the kitchen and have not been given same opportunities to explore other economic issues outside their homes

However, as such problem had affected them up to date. But through the enactment of various laws such as Act of 1964 of the Civil Rights protects people against discrimination in multiple areas. For example, Title VII limits human resources discrimination as well as harassment based on race, sex, color, national origin and religion which includes limited proficiency in English. The other institutional structures a part of the law that imposes "rules" related to gender are such as Human Rights Organizations, nongovernmental organizations, the church and among others. International Human Rights Organizations are structures that limit gender discrimination, but instead, it promotes equity and equal opportunities among people. Additionally, many nongovernmental organizations protect interests of minorities, and these minorities include women and infants, and they have a sole responsibility to see them free from segregation based on based on their sex, familial status, religion, race, color, national origin, and age. They offer an alternative to seeing things work appropriately and every individual to get the right element in the society. Finally, most of the academic institutions they advocate for equity regarding access to education since all learners given same material and similar coaching; thus this has as well imposed "rules" related to gender to all learners (Doan 245).

Thus my position on sex regulation as well as sex segregation basing on assumptions concerning "proper" gender roles for both women men to play is that all people should be considered to be equal. Let the society define people according to what they can produce best but not explaining them based on their sexual orientation. Nature does not offer men higher opportunities, but instead, nature gave men powers as head of the family alone. Therefore, I propose that the society provide both men and women same chances in all areas of the economy such as the political arena, education, leadership, promotion at work plus many other vital responsibilities in the society. The society will only measure them regarding performance, and in the recent past, the report says that currently, women are becoming more competitive live men and they surpass men in some areas within their jurisdiction.

Thus proper gender role should be defined through education. People have to be given the same access to education, and it will come out apparently that, men and women are equal since their academic performance will be an elaborative and defining element under consideration. Segregation has lacked meaning especially in the workplace where men are getting higher posts than women. This has dramatically affected productivity in which women are not taking active roles to see things working towards achievement of set goals and objectives. Therefore, the workplace should be one of the areas where gender segregation should lack penetration at all costs; hence by so doing brings positives mind among the upcoming general to value both men and women as equal in the society (Messner 321).

Conclusion
