In 1531, in Mexico, there was a poor Indian man known as Juan Diego, it is believed that he was a man of God who was known for his faith. Besides, she played a significant role in fulfilling the church obligations that win her favour in the eyes of the church administration, thus making her name known to the world out of her good deeds. Even at the time of her diminish, in the hospital bed, she made her faith known to the most excellent Don Toledo, and she asks them to confess so that their sin be forgiven (Brewer-Garcia pg. 101). Her humble and strong in faith commanded the obedience from the most powerful commander.
The religion social hierarchy emerged in North America during the colonial period. It was derived from religious competition, ethnocentrism, and inequality in resource distribution. The life of Maria de san Jose impacted many lives in Mexico and worldwide as her image is still used up to today in the modern churches. It is believed that she was sent by God himself, and the command she gave to the church was undisputable. Therefore, the social hierarchies in the church today is reinforced by the life of Maria de San Jose and her writings are still used as the guidance to holiness in churches.
Since the definition of the world religion has become contentious, 'behold, I am with you, and will keep you in all places where you go.' (Genesis 28:15), remain the piety of a woman. A beloved daughter can depart from her father to seek love from a man for the sake of love.
In this case, they live a good life away from home, where they are protected and loved like a rose flower. In return, a man was to sweat in the field to provide for her beloved wife at home. Though it is sad to see a woman leaving her father's house, go to live with a man and still fetching for herself. Therefore, the only real source of consolation for any young woman who desires to be happy away from home is the true religion (Brewer-Garcia pg. 477).
