Introduction
Regarding the expansion of the businesses in Spain, there is a need to plan for recruitment, selection, and staffing of employees to work in the new hotel outlets. Therefore, workers in both the United States of America and acquired hotels in Spain have to be informed of the job vacancies in the organization through internal advertisements, communication through job hierarchy, and word of mouth. Since the newly acquired hotels are located in a different place from the United States of America. It is also crucial for the management of the sources of workers from Spain. Moreover, cultural diversity is essential, and recruiting workers who are knowledgeable in the terrain means that they are capable of interrelating with the customers and ensuring that their expectations are met. Both internal and external sources of employment are essential, but various factors have to be looked at to provide quality services are offered. The elements that should be included in the recruitment, selection, staffing, as well as training are the suitability of the workers, desired new ideas, and economic aspects.
Among the leading and most significant roles in the management of human resources is the ability of management to oversee the workforce in a business setting. For this reason, the administration should focus on evaluating the major concerns surrounding the management of employees. Managing and evaluating the performance of the employees is of importance because it allows the management to gauge the performance of the workers effectively and efficiently (Oke, 2016). Effective management of the employees also enables the management to make decisions that are right and can ensure that a business can make well-informed decisions. Education and employee training are also essential elements in the hospitality industry, examining the aspect of the job description; recruitment procedures are crucial when it comes to the evaluation of staff performance. The assessment of employees can be upheld by encouraging the workers to uphold their performance. Management of the employees can also help in improving the productivity of the employees by identifying their weaknesses and strengths. The identification of these aspects plays an essential role in increasing productivity and the success of a workplace.
Holiday Villas Hotel has to be flexible regarding its hiring process and continued operations in Spain as a new venture. Consequently, the hotel management must ensure that all the employment processes are appropriate, ensuring that the recruitment team hires qualified candidates. Suitable candidates for job positions should be chosen according to their efficiency and skills. Even though the training is considered a negligible part of the complete worker development process, it is significant for the Holiday Villas Hotel to provide training for new employees regularly, ensuring that the same standards as those in other outlets in the USA. Motivating employees in the acquired hotels in Spain will also be significant, and the management ought to ensure that all staff are motivated psychologically to bring their inner feelings to work towards the best performance of the company (Monteiro, Correia & Goncalves, 2019). Through this, employee commitment will increase, leading to high-quality services and increased employee satisfaction. Besides, maintaining employees has to be considered by offering workers with better policies that create a safe and conducive working environment.
