Introduction

The investigation ideas are some of the substantial aspects of human life and, more so, in a society where there are frequent criminal interventions. There should often be analysis and a revised or unexpected development from the suspected or else assumed illegal to change the theories that control the research. The plans towards investigations shine a light for similar studies on analysis that are careful, critical, and require the Act (Smith et al., 2017). This attribute comes in for the researcher to avoid ending up stranded on a dead end and keeps the research on check now and then. For the research to be comprehensive, the investigation plan should sufficiently complete ensuring that the investigators gather the needed information to understand whether the suspect or even the one charged guilty had anything to do with the crime they were accused of.

The investigation plans are not similar to investigative reports; thus, they are not bound by the statute. There is a need to have the program as it guarantees efficient and effective completion of the investigation (Parsons, & Sherwood, 2016). The investigation team and most importantly, the owner of the project must work in hand with the supervisor ought to seek regional counsel during the development of the investigative plan. The plan should be made up to date during the entire investigation process. The supervisor, as well as the investigator, should help the researcher in ensuring that the scope of the questions is channeled and made to offer a substantial claim made in the complainant and a similar issue that could be apparent from an assessment of charges and information towards public privileges of obligations (Parsons, & Sherwood, 2016). But again, one should be super cautious not to overestimate the claim scan and should never be permitted, and that can only happen when one plans carefully. The investigator is obligated to send written requests for evidence and documents to the parties in the case. The replies will help the investigation plan requests in assisting the researcher n coming up with interviews and in exponentially influencing the investigations.

The idea behind the writing of this document was to;

Find out the root causes of low crimes that resulted in capital punishments. Secondly, there was a need to have a significant understanding of sentences and charges for a perpetrated crime. Again, understand how the criminals are charging, and the criminal studies of the law rules are working.

What deliverable was accomplished?

In the first week, I will interview the targeted population. More so, the ones who were involved in the crimes and served behind bars on accounts of capital punishment. Ideally, I was interested in the purported offenders as well as the judiciary who ruled on the different cases over capital punishment. On the second and the third day, I will visit cells and detention facilities equipped with the permits and resources to hold capital offenders. On days four and five, I will make observations around the cells, the law courts, and the new Harding online on the determinations of law on deterrence and capital justice. On the sixth day, I was supposed to analyze whatever I had gathered from that week's sources concerning capital punishment and deterrence. Come Week two, and I had plans to contact the senior lawyers and the magistrates as well as the registrar of the courts regarding the issues of capital offenders being punished and getting to know their standpoints on deterrence.

On the fourth day of the week, I visited the online sources and understood the universal scholarly information and capital punishment structure. In the fifth and sixth days of the research, I will create a sketch on what I comprehend and follow according to the data I have already conducted. On the seventh day of week two, I had plans to make analysis using the scientific methods and data collected to understand the data. The information helped me draw a comprehensive picture of the ways of the precise level of the differences in the interpretation of data on the different groups according to capital punishment. On Week Three; Basically, this happened to be the week that I was not going to make more trips and consultations from afar but rather from the data I have gathered. I will be in pursuit of understanding the data regarding the various data views and knowledge in society. I will be able to narrow down to clear findings according to capital punishment and the perspective that the whole world has regarding capital punishment by the mid-week of week three. In the last days of the fourth week, I will be analyzing the data analysis findings in the community and its impact on the law. On Week four, Coming to this final week, I will be inclined to make the recommendations regarding the people within the law and capital punishment. Through the thorough analysis and the findings, I will be able to summarize and understand the general data's clear reviews conclusively.

What did you discover in the process of interacting with the deliverable(s)?

In my process of understanding and ensuring I provide a credible document regarding capital punishment. I faced substantial success, and the challenges were worth the while. Initially, I had the thought that amid the involved people I would interact and interview regarding my research would not be responsive as much. It took me several attempts, and the unfortunate is that it drained me. The good thing is that a number of the respondents were welcoming and interested in making my project come to completion successfully.

Some of the objectives and goals that I had set were not realized since they seemed to be overshadowed by other purposes. For instance, I had plans to meet the offenders and seek to understand the offenses and understand whether the crimes were low and whether the little crimes were considered capital crimes. From the analysis, I was more inclined to the deterrence of capital punishment. I discovered again that I had not found the risk management.

Describe your activities this week about completing the pieces of your work plan for the capstone. Provide descriptions/updates for each daily task from your work plan and explain how you accomplished that task.

Capital punishment, either directly or via a spillover effect, has a deterrent effect on white-collar crimes. Using data on nearly 150 nations and various dimensions of capital punishment, including capital punishment for nonviolent crimes, we consider two widely prevalent whitecollar crimes—corruption and the shadow economy. Nesting the empirical analysis in the broader literature on determinants of corruption and the shadow economy, we find that capital punishment in general reduced both crime and the shadow economy, and the deterrent effect on the shadow economy was relatively more prevalent.

Capital punishment has been considered to be influencing society at large, but could it be leading to retaliation other than as a warning to crime perpetrators? It is presumed that capital punishment is as a result of spillover. It has a deterrent effect on capital crimes, from substantial reliable data in more than 150 countries, and the many structures of punishing capital offenders, and also for the non-crime offenders. The ideal and recorded crimes are crime-corruption and the shadow economy. There are presumptions that there will be a general reduction of corruption and the shadow economy and the preventive impacts on the shadow economy was a bit prevalent.

What did you learn this week about your topic?

There is a substantial takeaway from the topic, and they all revolve around inadequate investigations and corruption within the judicial systems. There have been executions on the perpetrators, but there are some traces of the same courts of law. There has been an increase in the use of special prosecutors, especially when it comes to crimes conducted by the people within the forces. For instance, several families and friends have lost their loved ones on bullets from police officers who claim to either had their lives threatened, stray bullets, or mistaken identity (Smith et al., 2017). A significant number of cases can be summed up to show that the men and women in uniform use excessive force when handling the people they are supposed to protect. The unfortunate truth is that the local prosecutor has grown interested in ensuring that the perpetrators are not held accountable. Thus they defend and justify the actions of the police officers.

Again, from the investigations, I have noted that the department of the inquiry is reluctant in data collection on fatalities when the cases seem to be against the police officers. It is not ones, or even twice, those police officers have killed unarmed citizens (Smith et al., 2017). The unfortunate truth is that the answers are not easy to answer. Reporters discovered that there is no thorough collection of data, especially when the involved party is one of the men and women in uniforms (Crawford, & Evans, 2017). This difference makes it very hard for the interested parties to assess the problem and come up with a clear scope of the question either nationally or in regions within a state. To curb all this, there has to be an implicit bias training for the law-enforcers state and the local police involved in task forces. For example, despite having accounts of minimal traces of explicit bias, more than half of the national health clinicians were purported to hold a statistically significant implicit bias against the Latinos, which is not any different from the Blacks as well.

What ideas do you have for addressing the criminal justice problem you want to solve?

To be in a position to address the issue, I believe I should be fair enough to consider not only the judicial systems but rather even the society and what happens for them to be held, culprits. First, from the societal background, approximately 50 to 80% of the convicts test positive on drugs, especially hard drugs. A significant number of drug users are candidates to conviction (Crawford, & Evans, 2017). There is a saying that goes that the future of a nation lies in the hands of the youth, and thus they need to be empowered. Unfortunately, some teenagers have found themselves incarcerated in juvenile. By being detached from society, a few have recorded a positive response to change. We need to bring up children having dialogues, and through their understanding, there are higher possibilities for them to never depart from what they are taught.

A significant number of the minor convicts tend to retaliate and either end in jail or die on a gun bullet. There are a high number of incarcerated people statistically; a while back, the US had 2million convicts, and 7 million people were under supervision. On the other hand, the economy of the nation is drained. Annually, the correctional facilities have budgeted a sum of $50 billion. Dealing with the issue of social interactions will curb all cases. For the judiciary, there has to be transparency and stick to the oath.

What new challenges have presented themselves? What is your plan for addressing those challenges?

It has come to my attention that a significant number of criminals have a mental illness. In the United States, 44% of inmates have suffered a psychological problem (Crawford & Evans, 2017). It is has been a significant milestone in tackling the issue. Still, from a personal standpoint, I would encourage the government to enforce and synthesize mental health and come up with measures to relieve the causes of mental illnesses. Depression stands the greatest of all the reasons for mental instability (Parsons & Sherwood, 2016). Cybercrimes have crept in the judicia...
