Generally, in the 21st century, ninety-eight percent of humans can access and interact with mobile phones smoothly without complications. Therefore, the paper is premised on a discussion about the influences of mobile phones with specific concerns on the pros and cons.
Mobile phones make the communication to be convenient to both communicating parties considering the less time is taken and the little-associated cost of airtime. Many people can stay in touch with their loved ones anytime, anywhere leaving them with no worries. Parents also become less worried as they allow their children to own cellphones with the knowledge that they feel secure and can easily reach them in case of an emergency. Mobile phones may also offer sources of entertainment considering the presence of impressive features that allow downloads. One can download games or even a song of choice by just a click on a baton. In most occasions, people with mobile phones will always have earphones to assist in getting entertained without disturbing the peace of other people. Mobile phones are also useful in business and studies and are more like a compulsory gadget to the users. Students get access to the internet both in school and at home thus get the knowledge of any topic of preference. Business persons too are kept updated with the market prices and can stay in touch with their clients or employees to keep their businesses going (Aker and Isaac 2010, 207-32). Another benefit is based on their sizes. They are small and more comfortable to carry; one can walk with them in a meeting or even carry them along when traveling without any difficulties. Even though the pros are noted, the influence of these gadgets (mobile phones) also has various cons.
They are good at distractions as they can capture the attention of one fully. Most accidents along the roads are caused by drivers diverting their attention to them either while picking calls. There are commands which must be initiated for efficacy in operation and it in the process of initiating such commands that accidents are caused. It's estimated that in every year, at least 1.3 million crashes are caused by its use by drivers while driving. Students' addiction to mobile phones impacts negatively on their studies. Student's attention may also be interfered with based on the existence of numerous exciting sites. Most students may decide to engage in playing video games or connect with other friends on the available social media platforms. Such platforms include Facebook, Twitter and What Sapp just to mention a few (Roland 2012, n.p).
Its influence also compromises morality. Children grow up earning no respect for their elders through the digital way they have been brought up. The drawn by be caused by the violent video games which may influence the manner in which children relate to either their colleagues or the elderly. The mobile phones may also allow access to certain sites with images that are likely to comprise the upbringing of the child. For example, the pornographic site or those with misleading teachings just to mention a few (Valk 2017, 117-140).
Some of the health problems are also be caused by the use of the mobile phone. Frequent use of the phone increases stress level and risk of eye vision problems. Many people forget the real purpose of it and waste most of their time in unnecessary interaction with them. The surface of the mobile phone also has numerous bacteria and viruses that cause skin problem without the knowledge of the users. With the use of the mobile phone, there is the possibility of privacy leak through constant interruption. Many people may have most of their data stored on the phones so that they access them with ease. There are chances that they may fall into the wrong hands in case of mobile phone theft or when the phone is left unattended. Therefore, even as mobile phones exist as significant gadgets that help in making life easier and more interesting. Caution on how it is handled should be taken to ensure responsibility for use. Children must also be supervised when using the phones to prevent them from visiting sites which may compromise their upbringing or the level of morality.

Some of the discussed pros include enhancing communication, helping by entertainment and assisting in education just to mention a few.
