There exist several reasons that have led to an increase in the number of independent candidates as the democrats and republicans reduce. I find vying for a seat as an independent candidate more helpful; this is because though it is an uphill climb, it might at the end bear desirable fruits. The reason for this is because ideological differences have been a significant factor that brings those who vie through parties down, and therefore running as an independent will not bother as every individual will have their own space to compete son the person of their interest (Sundquist and James, 2011). Independent candidates have the right to build everything from scratch to work in fighting their opponents who run as republicans and democrats with the help of political parties. It is easier for them to join any party if they win the elections to get things efficiently done. If any person who wins through a political party is not supposed to betray, they have to stick and go as the rules govern. Still, as independent candidates, they have the freedom on which party they should join to make things easier for them in their seats (Mann, Thomas, Raymond and Wolfinger, pg. 623). This gives them an open and sharp mind to make decisions and resolve things, mostly without the help of groups. The laws of the party govern them they engage with after winning the elections. Therefore the party offers them a committee to plan on the doings as they remain the head.

Competition among political parties is also evident as there arise grudges when two or more people from the same political party want to vie for the same seat. Still, when she does not belong to any political party, she will not be eliminated from contending as there cannot be two people from the same party vying for the same seat (Champagne and Anthony, pg. 1411). Competing as an independent candidate has a lot of freedom as she does not require rules to govern her campaigns, and the only great barrier in this is only how she will outdo her competitors. This is a primary reason why many people in Texas want to vie as independents candidates to escape ideological differences and the party rules that limit their vying processes.

I would also advise her to make creative reforms that she would introduce if she won the seat that would help the people in general; for instance, they should not touch on specific groups but every citizen as a guarantee, this would help her win more votes. This will express his loyalty and willingness to work for the good of the citizens. It is evident that most candidates base their manifestos in the development sector, she should also include on the establishment of industries, including the disabled. All races and social units should be added to ensure equality even before the law (Champagne, Anthony, and Kyle, pg. 907). Equality is a core that lacks in many political orientations; therefore, basing the manifestos and the campaigns to express selflessness may earn herb the seat as for political parties, their reputations can be spoilt by one person.

Conclusively, vying as an independent candidate has more advantages than vying as a democrat or a republican as it depends on individual reputation to the public while in group they base it on the overall. Therefore from the above discussed points I would advise her to vie as an independent candidate.
