Introduction
Should the citizens of the United States of America be allowed to possess guns for their defense? This has been a question that has left the federal government to muffle adversely. Notably, there is a necessity that Citizens be allowed to possess a firearm and any other form of weapons in the United States of America. However, for the need to be accomplished all the guns must be licensed before being authorized. Similarly, acute care and control measures should be adhered to before anybody can be allowed to have access to or possess a gun in the United States of America. Violation of these requirements by the citizens should be dealt with in accordance with the law.
According to the Second Amendment of the U.S Constitution, people have the right to keep and bear arms purposely for the installation of personal security against unexpected attacks from various sources. Similarly, several sources have explained the take of the United States in terms of homicide firearm rate cases amongst all other developed countries, despite intensive constitutional gun possession measures. Proponents argue that limiting gun access to people would eventually aid in reducing the crime rate and hence help in saving more lives which would become victims due to over possession of such firearms. In a contrary argument, possession of a gun could greatly assist the citizens in the cases whereby they need to be assured of their security form uncertain encounters such as ambush from militia groups and another form any other criminal staged an attack.
Conclusion
Overall, these rights should not whatsoever is infringed. However, for anyone to have a gun, proper registration procedure has to be followed while offering strict rules and regulations on when and where should such a firearm get used, and hence the consequences which follows afterward in case of violations of such rules.
