For this reason, Simon Sinek in the video about what leaders usually do wrong in the organization tries to explain to us the best approach that leaders need to take to ensure that the organization is a success. Being ideologists and optimists, Simon echoes that every leader needs to understand the game plan that the organization can work better with to enhance, leadership, the motivation of the employees and to help change the general organization behavior to help win in the market (Sandelands, 2017). In connection to this, he talks about the finite and the infinite games in the market. In Finite set, Simon states that there are known players in the market, the market regulated using. On the other hand, he touches the infinite game, where he denotes that there are known and unknown players and the rules of the game keeps changing.

From his explanation concerning the two game plans, it is vividly clear that many organization finds themselves in a hot corner because they do not recognize the game plan that they need to put to use in the organization or rather the one the company is using (Sandelands, 2017). It is evident that struggles that many organizations faces are as a result of leaders playing the game with the finite mindset in an infinite game plane and vice versa. For the mismatch of the game plans, the outcome is lack of morale in the organization, lack of innovation, poor discretionary efforts and consequently reduction in the performance.

According to the presentation by Simon, infinite games need to be applied in the businesses where the players are known, they come and go, the rules changes and there are no ends of the game. An infinite leader needs to understand all these characteristics to help the business thrive forward. For example, a leader who embraces the unlimited game plan is stark in contracts, are more innovative, more inspiring, and build a stronger relationship between employees and the leaders (Sandelands, 2017). These kind of leaders are resilience and can perform even in the daily changing environment because they understand the game that they are playing.

The video was also able to open my eyes concerning the primary purpose of the business and how the objectives can be achieved. Simon echoed that a company should be one that maximizes profit within the bounds of the laws and regulations. However, there are many businesses, which only focusses on how they can earn the profit and optimize performance without paying attention to the ethical concerns of industry. The unethical behaviors and activities that most organizations indulge in plays a vital in the failure lose morale and consequently scrambling of an organization. It is therefore essential that every business despite understanding the game in the market should ensure that the ethical concerns of the organizations are upheld for better performance.

Looking at the business environment today, most organizations are for sure just concern about their profits, but they fail to understand that there are underlined guidelines that they need to work in line with to get the best performance out of the employees that they have. Concerning the activities that we covered in class, I see what Simon said to be the real truth concerning what is going in a different business environment. We were able to talk about and compared the factors behind the motivation of the employees and one, and we have to note that upholding employees' rights in their lines of work is one of the core factors. We were also able to see the roles a leader can take in the organization (Sandelands, 2017). Where it was transpired that a leader either could skyrocket the business or causes the industry to crumble based on the very many factors discussed. In connection to what Simon echoed, I see a correlation, and I have learned that a well-structured organization depends on the type of game that the leaders use and whether they understand the rules of games or not.

Conclusion

As a parting shot, Simon Sinek in the interview session has unveiled some of the wrong things that most leaders in the organization to cause the organization not to perform as expected. He mentions a lack of game plan where leaders use mingles the game plans. He has also cited a lack of ethical practices by different organization causing many of the organizations to lose focus. I think Simon has summarized what we learn in class, which incorporated the vision of the business, the motivation of the employee's leadership and organizational behavior.
