In the field of science, romanticism encourages individuals to be more creative and have higher intelligence (Simut, 2020). Romanticism also supported that humans were connected to nature, and thus it emphasized that scientists need to respect nature (Sacks, 2018). It is because scientists conducted scientific experiments and discoveries, in romanticism it was based on the belief that when scientists want to gain more knowledge of nature, it meant that they were, on the other hand, trying to understand humankind as well, and thus it forced them to obey nature by giving it, its utmost respect.
