Specific purpose: To persuade my audience that a required school uniform should be implementation focusing on students of all levels of education.

Question of policy: Should a law of school uniform at all educational levels be applied?

Practical: There has been a rising number of bullies in the school system; it is because they make jokes over what other students have worn (Watts 20). Also, there has been an alarming rate of increased distraction when the students are learning in school.

Need: Wearing school uniforms will enable the students to be less distracted and also improve their learning capabilities. It will allow the students to focus in class since the environment is conducive, one will not worry about the other has dressed, and thus one will perform well in class and have better results (Watts 18). Also, by wearing uniforms, one will be able to eradicate the rising of bullies in a school system. It is because they tend to make jokes about what others have worn. Also, wearing of school uniforms will enable the students to be less distracted and also improve their learning capabilities (Watts 20). It will allow the students to focus in class since the environment is conducive, one will not worry about the other has dressed, and thus one will perform well in class and have better results

Plan: One`s plan is to conduct a meeting with school officials and try to talk into agreeing with this policy. I will make them believe that this policy is useful and beneficial.

Brief Description of points: First I will persuade my listeners into agreeing with my point that the law of school uniforms should be applied and that students need to wear school uniforms when they are in a school setting (Louw and Von Solms 113). Secondly, I will discuss on the statistics that cause the implementation of this law in that students to need to wear uniforms. The statistics involve the increased number of bullies and distractions in the school settings. Lastly, I will discuss the benefits of wearing school uniforms.

Get Paid for the Internship

Specific purpose: To persuade my listeners to agree with my terms, which is ensuring that the students get paid while they are continuing with their internships

Question of policy: Should interns get paid while they are in their internships?

Practical: When interns do not get paid, they tend to report late at work and also conduct their duties not in a professional manner. Interns also do not know how to handle the business or how to manage the assigned projects with minimum supervision. The interns do this because they do not get paid and that they are overworked.

Need: Paying off the intern is one`s company will be able to attract the best candidates into the company, and through that, the company will discover their values in that they will improve on the company`s policy and ensure that the company moves an extra mile in profit-making.

When one`s company decides to pay its employees, it will make sure that the interns are well motivated and that they will treat the internship as a real job. Through that, the interns will be able to assign projects and fully manage the company`s work with minimum supervision.

It will also motivate the interns to show up on time in that one will be more responsible, and also strive to produce quality work that will (Louw and Von Solms 127). It will also teach the employees how to manage one`s budget when they get paid. One can also complete the companys tasks with ease and at a faster rate because they are motivated with money.

The Need for Free Public WIFI

Specific purpose: To persuade my audience that free wifi is beneficial to us since internet dependency is rising daily. The people will gain free access to wifi in public areas such as specific parks and even some town squares and even libraries.

Question of Policy: Should there be a need to give the public free wifi?

Practical: Over the past decades, there has been an alarming rate of criminal activities in the town areas. It is because the youths have nothing to destruct them and make them busy. Therefore, they resort to selling drugs (Louw and Von Solms 113). Also, students who come from low-income family backgrounds have been delaying completion of assignments and also research because they do not have access to wifi, and through it, they cannot complete their assignments (Louw and Von Solms 127).

Need: The need for free wifi is to allow the public to gain access to most services such as the news, offers that are available on the internet (Watts 20). The wifi will also enable social interactions and create a haven whereby persons or college students can come and enjoy free access to internet services such as when one does the school research or assignments. Free wifi access can aid in encouraging digital studies in that the teachers and students can interact through the web, and through it will aid in improving the student`s understanding in a particular subject or lesson.

Plan: The plan is to make the public wifi safer for people to use. It is because most of the public wifi can be used as a loophole for hackers to gain access to a person`s personal data and documents through the phone (Watts 19). The public wifi will get created in a way that the users can freely surf without fearing that one`s phone may get hacked.

Through the public wifi which gets mostly found in many public libraries, it can aid one to gain free access to the internet, and through it, the users can learn new languages through videos and tutorials (Fang, et al. 23). Also, one can be able to apply for jobs through the internet or even indulge themselves in online jobs, through it, one can quickly generate income, and thus it aids in eradicating poverty.

I will persuade my listeners to agree that public wifi is essential for us. First, I will discuss the statistics that come about when the public does not have access to free wifi. Secondly, I will discuss the importance of giving the public free access to wifi. Lastly, I will discuss how we will ensure that the wifi gets secured from hackers.
