Michael Moore considers America to be downright evil, corrupt and evil. He is angry and frightened about his country's future and the economic meltdown worth 700 billion dollars in taxpayers. He goes against the government by walking on the streets with a microphone, telling the citizens the corporate dominance on their everyday lives and how they are being suppressed. In his exploration of Washington DC, the love affair has gone astray and is coated by betrayal, lies, and abuses (Bernstein, 2010). The love story as indicated by him, explains the greed that the government has not considering its citizens due to capitalism.

The American government has roles that they have to play, but only a small percentage of them is realized. This includes securing the rights and freedoms of its citizens. Not all Americans enjoy this privilege, but it only considers the rich people. As for the poor, liberty, life and property are non-existing because men have made laws (Schattschneider, 2017). This makes them feel unwanted as the little money they get is again taken by the government in the form of tax. The country is only concerned with its expansion not considering the statuses of all.

The government should provide a mechanism for defense against theft, bodily harm, and involuntary servitude. It should not claim and redistribute the power and wealth of reluctant citizens by forcing them to perform charity works. What happens in this case? The opposite is done, and the reluctant are even threatened if have not participated in the charity organizations (Lowi et al., 2015). This makes the rightful people who are supposed to do the work earn illegitimate income through the efforts of their subjects.

Crime should be punished and justice to be administered. This is only a vocabulary of the well-off citizens, who can bribe the government officials so that they get favored. The poor are looked down upon, violated and deprived of their constitutional rights. Even if the poor are innocent of a crime, he/she will be proved guilty because they do not have the money needed.

Socialism should be embraced. The rich have their class, so as the poor and it is believed that they are different and should not be together. In most circumstances, usurpation of power and denial conjugal rights is practiced among the low-class citizens, as they cannot be leaders (Lowi et al., 2015). They are not even able to defend their private lives, as they know it can either be denied by them or be humiliated by others.

Racism and tribalism should be curbed at all costs with the American government. Americans tend to know themselves. Africans, to be specific, who live with Americans tend to suffer a lot, in places of work, schools, during play and even in boarding some of the vehicles to name but a few. They believe that Africans are people meant for manual, dirty, charity and hard works and should not mix with them at all costs (Lowi et al., 2015). They are their subjects and should abide by what they say. Michael Moore in his video explains this and makes a plea to the government to take actions, but nothing is done. They behave as if it is a normal routine.

The Government should be able to manage the economic conditions and redistribute the income and resources of its country. For a country to grow, equity should be practiced and maintained. Not all areas in a country are places where people can live. Some are pathetic, old and dirty while others are like kingdoms (Brennan, 2014). The government should use its income to rehabilitate the unworthy places that one can stay in, thereby increasing the use of land but what does it do? It selects those places for the poor and forces them to stay without making any attempt at cleaning or renovating them. Some call it a bitter government.

Provision of collective goods and preventing externalities. This issue should be the core function of the government to enhance love and unity. Public goods should be provided by the government not concentrating on class, gender or age as the private agencies do. In enhancing national security, the poor depend on the government for their safety, while the wealthy individuals can hire private mercenaries. Surprisingly, the wealthy hire the people working in the government agencies who pretend to be in private to cover them, leaving the poor to remain insecure defending themselves (Moore, 2010). The military personnel ends up receiving a double salary for a work they have not done, many lives taken away in wars which they do not care. One can ask, is this a fair government?

Conclusion

In conclusion, the American government does not deliver to its citizens as promised. Furthermore, every individual is the same not considering their social class, race or tribe because they all contribute to making the government, but instead, the one government selects the people it favors. Michael Moore has a sense of humanity in all these but the government also looks down upon him in actions, and the little that the poor have will still be taken away from them mercilessly since they have no power.
