It is also the same century, seventeenth that the trails and executions of such people both men and women were on the rise in Norway with the ones recording the highest numbers being the Varda ones mentioned earlier. The trials had the highest numbers in the years 1662-1663, and about 348 years later a structure was built in commemoration of the given period.

The structure in question is Steilneset Memorial which is made up of two buildings facing each other with one of them being more than 400 feet long and framing a fabric cocoon. Also, this particular building has 91 windows that are attached to wooden frames which are supposed to represent the number of the ones executed at Varda. The other building is a contrast with a chair in the middle in a way to signify judges surrounding the one condemned to the other one where he or she was to be executed.

The Dancing House is a project that came from the works of the world-renowned architects Vlado Milunic and Frank. This building was constructed in the years 1992 to 1996 and occupied the position of a house that had been destroyed by the American bombing in the culmination of the Second World War.

The style chosen for this building is deconstructivist because of its unusual shape. The structure is held in position using 99 concrete panes each of which has a unique shape and dimension. At the top is to be a found a bigger twisted metal that was nicknamed Mary and the entire building is divided into two parts. There is one that is composed of a glass tower and the other that runs parallel to the river and can be identified by undulating moldings.
