In the year 2010, I happened to visit Sydney in Australia for my holidays and stayed in Bateau Bay. Bateau Bay was an excellent place to have fun because I could go swimming and cruise on the motorboats most of the time; it was fun and allowed me to relax my mind after completing my elementary studies. Though my father had accompanied me, most of the time, he used to remain in the hotel rooms and do programming for his employer since he was a lead programmer at his place of work.

One sunny afternoon as I went swimming, I met this tall hairy, bearded man who doubled up to be a motorboat operator, his name was Henry. He had a dream of one day owning a boat, but he did not know how he would achieve that, many questions went through his mind whether he would fail or achieve his dream. Henry was a native of Australia, and he had done this job since he was 30, by the time I met him, Henry was 55 years old, this shows that Henry was an expert in what he was doing. Through my conversation with him, I realized that he loved his job so much. He had a dream of buying his speed boat one day. All these years, he was contracted by a hotel that accommodated tourists from all over the world. His primary duty was to take these tourists around the beaches, and these people could give him handouts just as a form of appreciation for the excellent work he was doing. As we went on with our discussions, I understood he was so much disturbed. First, he told me it tiresome working from Monday to Monday without having a day off. Secondly, Henry wanted to make at least extra cash to cater for the needs of his growing family.

He had a dream, and he knew he would achieve this one day. So from the time he started working, Henry could save some amount of money every month, which he believed could one day assist him in acquiring a speed boat. Every day I could go to the beach to have fun, I used to see Henry though we just exchanged greetings and each one of us went on with our activities. There was this chilly evening, and Henry was through with his work for the day. He called me, 'John, hey my friend come here.' I ran towards him because I was interested to know how far Henry had gone with his plan. After knowing how I was doing, we sat down, and he started narrating to me that his job had come to an end. His employer had given him a dismissal letter without any explanation that evening. Henry though that his world had come to an end and that he was a failure He was disturbed, so much worried (Rowling, 2008).I could see it through his eyes. So I asked him how he intended to face the situation. He told me he had saved 2000 dollars and did not know where to get the remaining 500 dollars to realize his dream since he needed 2500 dollars to buy a speed boat. I went and shared his story with my father and gauze what? Henry's story moved my father, and he offered to top it up for him. I was so happy.
