Introduction
It is cost-effective to do retrofitting for a building that has been existing so that they match the level of innovation expected of the company. The study aims at providing answers to the creative needs of organizations and how the interior space needs to look like. This way, existing buildings are said to be comprising of the largest area of the environment that they occupy and thus, it is way important to come up with retrofits for the sake of energy conservation that will do great work in helping out to deal with reduction of high consumption of energy and the cost that is incurred during heating, cooling and sometimes when lighting buildings and so be related to the ideal work of the organization. .

This way, these institutions have not had years of experience the builds the conference rooms and other spaces meant for meetings.
The plan for renovation is for the King Fahad National Library which is considered to be an essential cultural building in the Saudi Arabia Kingdom because of the unique design used by the architects to build the library till completion in the year 2013. It has attracted several people from other states, and that makes it a cultural site as much as it is a learning center. The library is located in a vast area of land with a huge compound and a comfortable environment, but various things ought to be done for it to become a building that is conducive for multiple activities in the larger Saudi Arabia.
The building was to be designed in a better way that would help in maintenance and ensure that the users of the library were comfortable in coming up with ideas about their lessons and courses. The main aim of redesigning the building was to retrofit this existing building for it to attain the level of a green building.
