Weight lifting is a professional exercise undertaken to help the trainee maintain a comfortable and flexible body. Most people undertake the process of attaining a healthy lifestyle. As Nalley, (p.6) observed, weight lifting is not a subjective process of bulking up muscle mass but rather an exercise geared towards building a healthy body. Weight lifting provides an array of benefits to the overall shape of a person in numerous ways. One of the areas where weight lifting has played a vital role is in metabolism and fat loss.

According to Soriano, et al., (p.878), the muscle bodies are provided with energy from the burning of the fats in the body. However, excessive fats in the body may pose health complications. observed that fats accumulate in critical areas of the body, such as in the pericardium membrane around the heart. The fats around the heart play a vital role in absorbing shock, which may damage the heart. However, excessive fats around the heart possess a significant threat in the overall functioning of the heart. Therefore, weight lifting triggers the muscles to consume energy from the breakdown of the fats, to help feed the demand from the muscles. As a result, the weight or improper functioning of the heart is overcome by reducing the fats circulation around the heart.

Nalley, (p.10) outlined that lifting weights increases the less body mass, which results in increasing overall calories burned by the body. Therefore, fats accumulation on ventricles and the arteries are higher, especially to those who consume a lot of foods reach in fats, but lack to exercise. The health effect of fats accumulating in the arteries reduces the lumen, resulting in higher blood pressure. However, weightlifting creates a higher demand for energy from fats. Therefore, fats accumulating in the arteries are gradually consumed to quench the demand for energy, emanating from overworked muscles. As a result, the arteries regain their original thickness, carrying sufficient oxygenated blood to different parts of the body.

According to the research conducted by Xiang, et al, the combination of a low-calorie diet and weight loss training plays a vital role in losing fats. Therefore, most of the individuals with the objective of losing weight saw the use of low-calorie diet, and weight training is the suitable concept of losing weight. However, the difference between the use of weight loss training and low-calorie food does not provide much of benefits, as compared to the weight lifting, which is geared towards creating a higher demand for fats to feed the increasing demand of energy from fats.

Conclusion

In conclusion, weight lifting plays an essential role in the reshaping of the body. Moreover, weight lifting creates a higher demand for energy, which is sourced from the burning of fats. Through this, weight lifting helps reduce potential health complications, such as heart attacks, among other chronic diseases.
