At a young age, I had not traveled a lot, and so I just assumed that the environment was as limited as it appeared to be in my home town, which had only a few trees. In my 7th grade, I visited Hot springs national Park with my school mates, and this changed my view and perspective of the environment. I saw many trees of different varieties and how they were able to support life. I became a passionate reader on environmental matters. My parents used to buy me books that made me develop an interest in learning and seeking new knowledge of the environment, especially trees. Growing up, I loved the trees at our home place and my father's garden that always had clean air and a place that one could feel life.

Having completed my high school education, I joined the university, and my Passion for environmental protection grew to greater heights. Joining university was always a dream for me since I considered it the epitome of knowledge. Lecturers at the university level, the majority of who are professors, motivated my Passion for the environment (Moktadir et al., 2018).

Could you imagine a world where nobody cares about the environment? No trees. Where there are no books related to our environment? A word with no environmental activists?. It would be a dull world that is limited in terms of innovation and creativity. Environmental pollution would be the order of the day. Nobody would care. Creativity, innovation, and environment care are products of passionate learning (Moktadir et al., 2018).

It is essential to preserve and protect the environment. Protecting the environment helps in stopping soil erosion. Soil erosion harms the food security of a country by negatively impacting on farming. National parks are products of a well-protected environment, which shows that preserving the environment can create revenue for a state (Moktadir et al., 2018). The revenue generated can help other sectors of the economy, such as health. Reducing the release of Carbon into the environment is directly related to environmental protection. The whole world is now appreciating tree planting, which is a product of environmental protection initiatives aims at reducing the emission of Carbon into the ozone layer (Moktadir et al., 2018).

In a world without environmental activists who are passionate like me, Environmental pollution would become the new normal, were it not for the environmental activists who are passionate about life (Moktadir et al., 2018). Cutting down trees has made it impossible to contain the amount of carbon released into the atmosphere, thus affecting our life as human beings. An environment without trees is not a sight to behold. A land with bare rocks and buildings is exposed to all other environmental hazards, including strong winds making life unbearable. It means that environmental protection is essential, and everyone should initiate environmental protection activities, including tree planting (Moktadir et al., 2018).

Joining clubs whose aim is environmental protection can help the growth of Passion on environmental matters. Having friends and partners that encourage you to take up environmental protection initiatives each day helped grow the Passion from within. Reading environmental-related books is a plus for the passionate environmentalists.

One must become intentional about environmental learning and protection (Sharif et al., 2019). The environment has become one of the most talked-about topics around the globe, especially at the United Nation's summits. The contentious issue is the emission of Carbon in the environment (Sharif et al., 2019).

Research has shown that power plants in the United States alone, 40 % of carbon emission comes from the power plants (Sharif et al., 2019). Such topics are fascinating to learn and understand them in detail. Scientists argue that life is dependent on how we take care of our environment. Learning about the environment makes everyone understand how the two relate (Sharif et al., 2019).

Countries in the world are working towards the use of renewable sources of energy to reduce environmental pollution (Sharif et al., 2019). Passion in environmental learning helps one read more about such topics and understands the impact such policies have on the environment.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Passion on environmental matters requires dedication and the need for continuous learning. Taking care of the environment is directly related to taking care of life. Passion is like a burning fire that comes from within a person. There is no monetary motivation in Passion. My Passion for the environment continues in me, and it is something that I will do in my entire life. Let us all become passionate about something we like in life. It gives you the purpose of living, and you enjoy life more. The environment depends on humanity to take care of it. It begins by understanding that it is not the work of the government alone but for all of us. We all want a clean environment, and thus we need to be passionate about environmental matters.
