Introduction

As a project manager for JCDecaux, I will collaborate with the City of Lyon so that we can implement physical, organizational, and social change. This is what is being referred to as a community organization. We will together develop a planned city of Lyon can be improved. Since an effective change entails installing and fixing tram and bus shelters, reduction of pollution, and traffic jams in the commercial center of the city. By changing the social, environmental, and physical structure of Lyon city, JCDecaux developers, federal government, and its partners in the city will address environmental concerns( the clean -up of polluted sites), transportation needs ( reducing automobile and traffic and individual health such as encouraging public to walk and bicycle instead of driving

Changing the physical structure of Lyon city will call for broad ranges of activities. At the most basic level, it implies building or installing something new, altering something that already exists or eradicating or abolishing something in the community (Prins, Kamphuis, De Graaf, Oenema, & van Lenthe, 2016). Therefore, I was together with my team, and those responsible stakeholders will use the following models of practice in a community organization to facilitate social change within Lyon City. In other words, social change calls for the following actions to be done before implementing social, organization, and physical change. The approach suggested below use community approaches to establish and deliver interventions aiming for small- physical environments in the City of Lyon is a potential for enhancing walking and cycling for transport.

Social Planning

Carmon and Fainstein (2013) claim that social plan uses information and analysis to address substantial community matters such as environmental health, education, or child development. Those responsible for city wellbeing together with my team will engage first into setting goals and objectives, coordinating efforts, and review goal fulfillment

Social planning will help the community focus on the purpose of curbing the issues that face the city of Lyon. For instance, information concerning increased pollution and factors that contribute to it will help focus on the goal of preventing further pollution and activities that leads to pollution.

Locality Development

Another approach that used to implement social change is locality development. Locality development is the process of reaching group consensus regarding the common concern and collaborating in problem-solving. For instance, in this situation, as a project manager, I may organize ways to reach out to the dwellers of Lyon City to define local issues, to develop a proper understanding of the actual situation for adequate planning. This helps to ensure that appropriate research for the environment has been conducted to receive the correct recognition and profit. Thus, it can give details regarding the specific population of people that may utilize this transportation and what type of bikes they are willing to ride. Besides, this approach offers different methods to solve the problem facing Lyon city.

Community Partnership

The last thing, the process of implementing social change in Lyon city, is a community partnership. Community partnership combines aspects of social planning and locality development to develop a common ground to address social problems facing the city together. This will help to change policies and practices that protect against transportation problems the city faces or minimize the risk of the concerns.

Before getting involved in the above model, it is wise to evaluate the exact causes of implementing social, physical, and environmental changes within Lyon city (Moos, 1976). This will help in facilitating the desired changes, formulating case description, maximizing ecological and social information, transcending ecological pressure, and enhancing environmental competence

Stakeholders to Be Included in the Process

Community members and policymakers ordain changes of any nature though there are often other players who get involved in the process. For this change process below are stakeholders that will be involved

Community Members and Grassroots Movements

Changes ides originate from the community. By participating, community members of Lyon city give more chances to address the issue at hand more effectively and offer the community ownership of the changes. This will require a community of members of the city to physically and socially make the changes or push for changes to happen.

Policymakers and Public Officials

This group of stakeholders will not partake in any physical labor, but their role will be primarily set the right conditions for the articulated changes to happen. For instance, legislators can 3estimate funds for these projects. The Department of Public Works can determine to spend money on a specific shift. Because they often manage the allocation of funds in a community, these are, in many cases the individual I have to convince

Developers. Developers will be used to reinforce a positive effect on a community. In collaboration, they will become real supporters of the things that I will be concerned within Lyon City, such as environmentally friendly. It will create a win-win situation, with the city securing a chance it requires and the developer getting project approval.

By implementing social, environmental, and physical changes, one may be able to change community members' behaviors, attitudes, prospects for wellbeing and health, chance, economic, social interactions, and quality of life. It is one of the methods to approach generating a healthy community.
