For this assignment, I choose the Jewish Museum in Camden, North London, which is a celebration of the Jewish culture and heritage. The Museum was founded with the fundamental aim of the preservation of the heritage of the Jewish community as well as the London's East End history. The Museum is currently housed in Camden Town in an early Victorian building. The Museum is a registered charity which was founded in Bloomsbury, which is the communal headquarters for the Jews before moving to its current location. The collections, interactive activities as well as the temporary and permanent exhibitions are a reflection of the social history and diverse roots of the Jewish community from London. Notably, it is the only Museum in London that has been dedicated to a minority community. The events and the programs at the Museum are designed in such a way that spurs questions as well as encourages a comprehension of the Jewish culture and heritage.

One of the collections that are housed in the Museum includes the Jewish ceremonial art, which is a plethora of objects that the Jews used to perform rituals. These rituals were considered as a way of honoring God's commandments. Kiddush cup, handwashing cup, Shabbat candlestick holders, Havladah candle and candle holder, and spice box are among the items that were used by the Jews for the Shabbat ceremony and have been displayed in this Museum. Other collections include the Passover Haggadah that dates back to the Middle Ages and contained the order of the Passover festival. Besides, the Etrog Box that was used for the Sukkot ceremony is also found in his Jewish Museum. The Museum also houses exhibitions that are aimed at recounting the life of the Jews in England. The collection of drawings and prints, paintings, and photographs has been archived those of the early 18th century primarily.

The Jewish Museum in Camden has two exhibitions spaces with the third floor housing the major ones while the ground floor has smaller exhibitions. The building also includes a gallery which is labeled as Judaism: A Living Faith, which displays the collection of Jewish ceremonial art. Most recently, the Museum has opened an exhibition that includes Rembrandt painting that seeks to examine the stereotypes and tropes about the Jewish community and money. The painting is set to trace the complex relationship between the Jewish community and money since the time of Jesus up to the 21st century.
