A group project is a critical process as it involves people with different understandings and perspectives, especially at the begging of any. As we started our project, everyone was confused, and we did not believe we could make it. We did not have a good foundation and common thought on how to start and run the project. There was much misunderstanding; many of us had different views and ideas about the project. At this point, no one was ready to move on with the project not until when we began to a joint discussion, proper introduction and sharing our views and from this moment we to developed a positive attitude to the project, we all believed we could do it no matter the differences that exist among us.
We all encouraged one another, building motives and accommodating each and everyone's ideas about the project. We developed a strategy on how to proceed with the project; we established standards to guide us throughout the process and dispersed the work among ourselves. We were expected to work hard and complete a given role before the deadline; this was made possible through interrelationship and sharing of ideas towards helping each other to complete a specific role.
We all had different skills that served a purpose for the project, some were good in search techniques, and others were suitable for presentation. Therefore, the primary strategy was to identify each member with specific skills, and the role share them based on what someone is good at. Although this strategy worked, we had challenges as we served to accomplish different roles in most of the cases, each person faced different challenges in the specified area. The aim was to complete each task before the deadline; however, this was not simple for everyone as we faced different challenges based on the different roles each play. For myself, I think that being the implementor elevator or the monitor was the best role I could play. My contribution to the group through these aspects was excellent. Participating in the group was not just an event to meet the group requires and complete the task; however, it was a process of learning the importance of teamwork.
