Communicating plays essential roles, such as informing, persuading, controlling, or even coordinating. Communication plays a crucial component in ensuring the sustainable development of a community. Effective communication plays an integral role in mobilizing members of the community to work hard towards development. Effective communication within the community leads to increase of collaborative efforts among members of society when it comes to issues of development.

Communication in Business

In any business set up the art of communication plays a significant role in shaping the day to data activities. A stable and robust communication system allows the business to gain a competitive advantage in the business market. The research aims at providing adequate support to the different assorted groups within the organizations, to the customers and also supporting other organizational projects. It is also essential to indicate that the improvement of an organization's information system will primarily revolve around the company's existing tools on matters relating to information technology. Communication helps people to transform from an individual-centered deficit model of learning to develop behavior to the participatory model of community. Communication empowers members of the community in recognizing essential issues as well as establish common grounds for action and in building a sense of identity and participation, which is useful in implementing their decisions. This paper, therefore, seeks to discuss how communication function works as well as how competition ( social class) affects communication in the community.

A research report by (Law, McBean, and Rush, 660) it is concluded that persons from socially disadvantaged regions experience troubles with communication and are more vulnerable to the impacts that trickle down as a result of poor communication. Different classes of people are thereby advised to share with their close friends and relatives to avoid being depressed and be able to manage stress most appropriately. Nonetheless, in the world today, communication has become the backbone of every sector in development; may it be personal or otherwise. By focusing on the topic communication, we are tackling a subject that almost every employer and employee in the globe confesses to being so crucial and essential in the business environment. Thus it is necessary for scholars to continue putting more emphasis on the agenda of communicating better. Again without communication, there will always be a problem between people and agencies of authority.

Development of Communication in Society

Communication in humans is mostly dependent on the personalities and the character traits that are possessed by individuals. Communication can be done through verbal way or nonverbally through the use of signs. Listening is an essential skill in the communication process; it is through listening that individuals get what they are expected to answer. The society is made of two groups the extroverts and the introverts. The extroverts are outgoing individuals who prefer to interact and engage in social activities while the introverts, on the other hand, are individuals who prefer to spend their time alone. The personality and character traits help in distinguishing the two groups of people. The knowledge of the two groups is vital in the current society, especially in a business environment which contains various groups of people. The identification of the different personalities will aid in the preparation of activities and programs in schools and work environment, which caters for the needs of all individuals.

Effective communication makes communities to serve our needs. Communities usually support us in everything that we are doing to become productive and lead a happy life. In any case that we need help from community members, they are always ready to give assistance that we require. For instance, in case an apartment catches fire, members of the community will come to rescue and put off the blaze. On the hand, in case there are floods, government officials will begin to provide support to the members of the community. According to Blackshaw andTony(n.d), community competition affect communication within the community in various ways by influencing not only the participation behavior but also collaborative innovation among members of the community.

Effects of Communication on Competition

Competition is considered to be natural and inborn to all individuals. Completion is essential, just like the way we require air and food to survive. It is considered to be part of our DNA or part of our human nature. It is arguably one of the main ideas of what is presented by Charles Darwin theory of what he terms as survival of the fittest. In this regard, for individuals to survive in the world, they have to compete favorably for the limited, scarce resources. Competition plays an essential role in the community and affects communication in different ways including; business competition plays a crucial as it encourages and motivates individuals to work hard in accomplishing their individual goals and those of the community as well. Tests in schools, incentives and workplaces, and reward program systems are presumably argued to motivate individuals towards working hard. For instance, competitions in schools tests play an essential role in encouraging or pushing students to participate actively in learning activities hence helping them to attain higher performance just as their counterpart who excel well in their studies. Accordingly, competition plays a crucial role in giving us insights into our capacity to develop physical and intellectual skills.

Besides, competition affects communication by influencing our culture. Individuals from different cultural backgrounds around the world tend to compare, measure, and judge themselves and others. Arguably, competition is evident from the biblical tales of two siblings to scientific studies related to group dynamics. There are multiple elements of competition almost in every culture. Globally, individuals tend to compete for various things such as for food, job, living quarter, and even for the general level of status in society. The American culture is widely known to take part in the competitive streak. The American citizens are known to take part in competition throughout their entire life ranging from playing football in the field during their childhood and moving work to adult workplaces. Rivalries among the American children begin at early stages, for instance, young individuals tend to participate in various events such as quiz contests, spelling bees and talent contests which demonstrate how the Americans engage in competition.

Moreover, competition serves as a funny way of accentuating skill and strategy building, establishing teamwork, teach methods of identifying individual goals as well as develop criteria for evaluating success. Typically, competition plays a significant role in motivating individuals to work hard towards completing various tasks. Arguably, most individuals agree that creativity thrives well in an environment that exposes people to the talents of other individuals.

Moreover, competition affects communication by teaching the members of the community the value of giving the best of their efforts. America is a land of opportunity perceived by the children of immigrants as a place where their children and their generations can grow and do anything to succeed and become champions if they work hard. However, it is imperative to note that competition is likely to be influenced by external rewards. Individuals who are intrinsically and extrinsically motivated tend to compete more favorably than individuals who are not motivated.

Also, completion affects communication in society by defining winners and losers. According to Vince Lampard, a famous soccer coach, winning does not mean everything; instead, it means "the only thing." These comments tend to highlight some of the popular beliefs upheld by the Americans, which defines their culture. In every competition whether, it is a sport, music, academics, or even any other activity, there must be a winner and a loser. These assumptions of defining winners and losers in competition tend to motivate most of the American individuals to work hard towards becoming stars in every activity that they undertake. This kind of optimism and positivity is what characterizes American individuals.

Besides, communities affect communication by providing us with sense stability through effective communication by establishing various standard norms and behavior which belong to all the members of society. These traditions and standards of behavior help community members in understanding which practices are acceptable and those that are not acceptable to them. These traditions are shared uniformly among the members of the community. while providing stability within the members of the community; it is imperative to establish long-standing traditions and standards which allow individuals to recognize that they are bonded and stay together according to their set standards of behavior. In most cases, people learn community traditions starting from their families. These community traditions help people to feel that they are connected to something greater, not just to themselves. Some of these established standard traditions and behaviors play a critical role in motivating people intrinsically towards accomplishing various tasks

Competition within the Community plays a significant role in making us better. From this perspective, competition arguably is not only considered natural but also in facilitating development. Competition helps us in learning principles and rules which govern our individual's life (Bullinger and Angelika et al. 290-303). Through this, competition helps us to learn essential life skills that tend to make us become better and grow stronger. In this regard, individuals, especially young individuals, are likely to learn critical life skills that are crucial in helping them to become essential members of the community if they are communicated effectively to them. Communication in any organization is vital for both internal and external company activities and relationships. Specifically, communication between these segments and also with the operations manager is crucial for the business that includes many departments. Communication between departments guarantees the organization's success as performance depends on working together on each part of the company. Likewise, their communication with the operation director allows management to understand the company's performance levels.

Employers in the globe are striving to employ a worker who has quality communication skills since they have shown to have excellent engagement skills that are essential in the improvement of production.
