The purpose of this report is to recommend the best way of dealing with poor crisis management in the organization.
The first solution to poor crisis management has measures that would reduce the impact of the crisis. This includes the post-crisis evaluation in which the company identifies potential causes of the crisis and placing ways to mitigate it. The advantage is that the company would be prepared in position and won't take them by surprise. It also enables the organization to assess their weaknesses and find remedies for them. The disadvantage is that there may be over the projection, and therefore, too many funds are used in something that is not productive in the organization.
The second solution to poor crisis management is instituting a monitoring plan on the brand of the organization. This would enable the organization to solve arising problems that were not expected and at on them before they go viral. The organization can assign a team that will be doing the monitoring to the organization. The advantage is that the brand will be safe from competitors, and information will not leak to the external. It also would promote a prior good flow of information and therefore facilitate excellent communication, which is essential in crisis management. The disadvantage is that, since they happen spontaneously, it may be too much that can be handled. It also deals with short term crisis management and ignoring the long term.
The third solution to poor crisis management is the introduction of business enterprise ORM to the organization. This is because crisis affects the reputation of the business, may disrupt the operations of the company, and may also cause a loss in revenue. The advantages are that it builds on trust among the members of the organization and protects the profit margins of the organization. It also promotes better communication skills and increases awareness of the brand. The disadvantage is that it may experience information overload, which may be challenging to follow and therefore cause stress and panic. If not cautiously managed, it may cause turmoil in the online platform of the organization.

In conclusion, poor crisis management can be easily mitigated by several measures. This would aid in reducing the losses that the organization is exposed to. The organization would be safe even in the long run and be able to compete favorably in the external environment. The brand would also be protected and achieving the goals of the organization with ease. It is recommended, therefore, that the organization implements the three steps suggested to mitigate or crisis management. This would help inadequately preparing for the organization crisis that would occur in the future. It would also ensure the proper flow of communication and thus reducing the risks that may have otherwise occurred. The long term interest of the organization will also be taken care of.
