Performance-enhanced drugs can cost an individual for his or her career. Several reasons exist as to why athletes are now distancing themselves from using performance-enhanced drugs. Some of the reasons include law charges, athletes' ethical standards, and morals, which influence their decision upon using the drug and the athletes' training ground as well as the current anti-doping policy within the game sector. The management of the use of drugs, including performance-enhanced drugs in sport, has been an issue over the past years, and the same problem exists in the current society. Short cut to improve athletic performance and the hazards of the drugs, which include blood-clotting issues as well as high blood pressure and cholesterol, present a number of issues surrounding performance-enhanced drugs. The issues have widely been associated with athletics and the health sector influencing the health of the victims negatively in the region. The research paper analyses performance enhanced drugs and issues surrounding them in athletics.

The use of performance-enhanced drugs in sports is against the policy and standards of the sport. I am against substance use because of its immense effect on individuals using it. Some of the problems include lost careers, among other negative effects. The influence of the drug in the region is alarming because of the reason people use the drug, performance-enhanced drugs. Reasons include leisure, enhancement purposes, and purposes of building the body.

Performance enhanced drug victims have been associated with a number of effects, including physical effects all believed from the use of drugs, PEDs. The effects of performance-enhanced drugs have extended to mental influence, which includes depression, among other effects within the users. Then the mental impact is more in incidences where athletes lose their career due to the use of performance-enhanced drugs. There are certain scenarios to use enhanced performance drugs in cases such as management of body conditions example, in reducing body fat. Various research studies and authors' views demonstrate risks associated with the consistent use of performance-enhanced drugs. Continuous use of drugs eventually causes death; this is so because of the risk of the drug associated with cardiovascular conditions. Based on the research, the drug causes hypertension or high blood pressure among the users of performance-enhanced drugs in the region. Decreased low-density lipoprotein with other conditions is likely to cause death; hence, the excessive use of the drug can cause death.

We came up with the drug, performance-enhanced drugs, because of the influence it creates among different athletes in sports (Mottram et al. p. 11). The wide variety of effects, including mental effect and physical effect, forms other reasons for how we came up with the selection of the drug. The influence is not only on sport but also on various body parts, including the effects of the cardiovascular system and anabolic influence, among others in the region. The mental effect also forms the basis of how we came up with this drug.

People initially interested in this topic found useful information regarding performance-enhancing drugs and associated effects on its users (Hurst et al., p. 13. Information obtained among the group changed their perception and helped their careers as well; they noticed exercise as the only way to work out. This presents what happened to people interested in the topic, performance-enhanced drugs. Those interested learned effects of the drug, performance-enhanced drug, and on the various body, system hence abstained from using the drug. The interested group of people includes athletes because they are the ones associated with the drug, performance-enhanced drugs.

Constrain associated with performance-enhancing drugs include its effects and chances management experiences in attempting to stop the use of the drugs among athletes and adolescent. Some of the reasons include the use of the substance to enhance performance among different groups. Despite the policy in place to manage the use of the substance among various athletes, myths regarding usage of drugs act as one of the main constrain in managing and reducing the use of performance-enhanced drugs in the region.

From the second perspective, various people use performance-enhanced drugs because of different reasons. Some reasons people use the drug, performance-enhanced drug, include leisure, and for enhancement purposes, this forms the reason why involved parties might prevent parties from reaching a common goal (Weinberg et al. p 17). The reason being different objectives between parties, the differences in objectives form the basis of why parties might fail to reach a common goal.

I am against the use of the drug, performance-enhanced drugs that are my stand. The substance effect is immense in the health of its users. The drug has an intense impact on the negative sides compared to the positive side and reason why I do not support its use among athletes in the region. The associated long term affects mental health to athletes associated with and influenced adolescents present reasons am against the performance-enhancing drugs in the region.

Conclusion

To sum up, performance-enhanced drugs has immense effects on its users who are athletes. Some of the effects include mental effects such as depression, among others. The use of the substance, performance-enhanced drug, has extended to the adolescent group, the reason why I do not support its usage. Different associated parties fail to reach a common agreement because of different objectives.
