In the recent past, different types of cars have been invented. Producing companies have developed and various types of cars to cater to customers' requirements. Nevertheless, there are three kinds of unique cars that have been designed to meet specific consumer wants. Many classes can be used to classify cars; however, a complete classification is hard to categorize as a car that can fit in a wide range of classes. A vehicle cannot completely meet the requirements of any of the given type or category.
Cars can be classified according to their performance, mechanical specification, shape, and size. There usually are three unique varieties of cars that are common to current consumers; these include Luxury cars, sports, and economy cars. The car, which is most common in the current market, is the economy car. Economy cars are designed in such a way that the buyer can acquire it at a lower price compared to a new car. Economy cars differ concerning production number, size, performance, and probability. During the early days of car production, the cars produced were expensive, and ix only the affluent could afford it. Upon discovery, by the production companies, the sales could go up hence making a significant profit by producing affordable cars. Ford company in 1908 manufactured the Model T cars, which were the first economy cars to be sold in the world market. The main feature of the economy car is that it was low in prices.
Economy cars are generally small in size, and the care characteristics usually depend on the year the car was manufactured. Economy cars usually have a compulsory feature of safety, such as safety belts, but the cars' luck advances and convenience features such as the air conditioning system and the GPS systems. Toyota Corolla from Japan is the best example of an economy car.
The second category of cars is a sports car. Sports cars are designed to possess advanced power and performance compared to the average car. Numerous sports cars are sleek, they have two doors, and the cars are designed for two people. Initially, sports cars were small in size; however, sports cars differ in size, with numerous producers expanding the seating areas to enhance practicality. Sports cars are made to do very well in breaking at top speed, acceleration, and maneuverability. The most significant feature of sports cars is that handling characteristics have been highly improved and advanced. The car driver usually can keep the sports car in control even in tough conditions. Compared to economy cars, sports cars are relatively expensive. Although a powerful engine is not a prerequisite for the sports car, these types of vehicles possess a powerful engine. Porsche company is an excellent example of a sports car manufacturing company that has produced unique sports cars that have to meet the exact needs and customer tests.
The final car category is the luxurious cars. Luxury cars are also referred to as comfortable cars; they are designed for comfort and boost ease. Luxury cars usually have innovative equipment, features designed to show prestige, and excellent performance. The main characteristic of a luxurious car is that the car is designed to offer comfort beyond what normal cars can give. Luxury cars normally have features such as custom dashboards, seats made of leather, and anti-lock brakes. Luxury cars offer secondary safety and comfort; they also have improved handling and general performance.
Luxury cars usually are costly, and the main target is generally wealthy buyers. Luxuries cars are made in a way that they convey a high class. The car often conveys the status and prestige of the owner. Mercedes Benz is the company that has been linked manufacturing of luxury cars, including the Mercedes Benz S-Class model.
