There are gaps in the cause of America's social change and the factors that brought up the need to incorporate psychology in both education and criminal justice systems. The study of psychology was considered to be a manipulation of things and human behavior rather than the study of human behavior as outlined by the emerging psychologist of the time. In that perspective, the 1960s was associated with little knowledge since most people consider psychology to be a manipulation of human behavior and concepts relating to behavioral change.
