Introduction
The gradual change in the environment imbalance is depicted by the ratio of benefits that are unevenly distributed in the nation with the poor being the targeted subject of the matter which increases the rates of sickness in the community (Carter, 2006). Although environmental justice, justifies that no community should be saddled with more environmental burdens with limited benefits than the other, it is quite clear that more communities are in the vague of suffering due to the unequal distribution of the ecological benefits. Never the less, most of the residents are forced to walk through a toxic environment that possesses a great danger to their lives. However, despite the affected areas, having a higher readmission rate at the hospital, the effect is felt at a national level, and there is a need to conserve the environment for both the humans and the plants.
The increased environmental degradation has been highly fueled by the demand of humankind to improve their living standards at the expense of the ecological distraction. Never the less, technology has been the core factor that has increased suffering to the environment, through the release of toxic chemicals that later transition to affect humanity. With the increased environmental degradation, we have explicitly paved the way for poor health especially to the impoverished community which is highly characterized by the blacks and the Latinos. As a result, these are the catastrophic impacts that profoundly affect society due to poor environmental conservation.
As Smith, (2011) conglomerates that civic ecology is a designed imaginary community that is developed by one's understanding and perception. Lack of meaning regarding pollution and environmental degradation has been a significant cause of the destructions we face. The main observation on this point is the belaboured technology that has been widely used by improving the nature of the environment. However, this has been on the benefits of humanity rather than the environment. Through this, it is clear to see how an integration of the of new infrastructure has been used to wipe down the natural environment. On the other hand, Carter, (2006) argues that, most of the political promises on improving the nature of context, which is based on the presidential campaigns. However, the betrayal is soon depicted by the increased projects launched by these leaders once they are on power, without considering the effect their plans have on our environment.
Conclusion
In conclusion, despite the significant projects that the leaders have adopted as a means of providing a sustainable economy of a nation, there is the need to ensure that new measures of conserving the environment are also integrated on their scheme. Through this, the buildings should adopt a new mechanism of going green rather than black (Smith, 2011). These mechanisms include the integration of parklands that are inhabitable by animals to improve our ecosystem, as well as to adopt the green roofing (Carter, 2006). Green roofing offers numerous benefits as compared to the regular roofing that has been in use for decades. Through the plantation of small plants on the roofs of the house, not only will the plants absorb excess heat from the buildings but also create a home for insects that help in pollination of our gardens. Nevertheless, green plantation on the roof helps curb "heat island" effect, which has been a significant contribution to climatic changes and the subsequent global warming.
