Introduction
What I think about this song is that it gives praise to the creator. The song invites us to actually listen to the earth, learn from it, and also celebrate with the earth community. The song also helps us to give discernment of Christ in every part of our life and also empathize with the earth for her suffering. From the song, we acknowledge that it is time to recognize that all the creatures in the world are our kin, born of earth, as well as the spirit of God. The song may be sung at any time and is appropriate for the worshipping communities who choose to incorporate a creation season within their church year.
There are some of the moments that I have passed that I felt the words expressed in the hymn expressed my feelings. It is true that life always brings forth with it both beautiful as well as horrible experiences. Having gone through a very tough time in trying to overcome the challenges that I had been going through in my life, I felt that God created everything for a purpose. I acknowledge that every human being is God’s creation, and under no circumstance can he forsake His people. Besides, all of the experiences that we pass through helps in shaping our world, personality, our perceptions of things, and the way we interact, among other creations. In some circumstances, my experience of nature didn’t, by any means, agree with the lyrics of the song. Some of the problems the kept pressing on in my life did not match the words in the hymn. I would fail in school because of being sick every time that I got depressed. These were some of the moments that I would doubt on our God, the creator.
Humanity in God's Image
The doctrine of trinity entails a Christian belief that we have only one God that is God, the father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The art of trinity is always considered a controversial doctrine whereby many of the Christians admit that they do not know about it. In contrast, others of the Christians do not understand it, but they think they do. I, therefore, think that the idea of taking the trinity among human relations means that in the process of knowing ourselves, we must first know God since the knowledge of God, as well as our knowledge, are closely related. Always we must first understand who God is if we are to know who human beings are created in the “image of God.” The Trinitarian people are just not subjects that are self-enclosed, defining themselves in separation from the opposition to other people. Instead, persons are relational realities in God and are hence defined by intersubjectivity, faithful relationships as well as the shared consciousness.
The idea of being connected or disconnected has no similarity to my understanding of being human. The belief that Christian have of God being a communion or fellowship of equal persons who co-exist in the love relationship bearing directly on the biblical teaching of human beings as created in God’s image. The secondary relationship where human beings are created is their neighbor’s relationship. Therefore, being connected to others is an essential part of life as it brings about togetherness, unity, and love among believers. Connectedness among the believers helps in the solutions to some of the problems that may arise among the people of the community.
