Topic 1: Low-Cost Green Housing
Greenhouses have far-reaching effects than the world has so far experienced. Human activities are the major contributors to the greenhouse gases which cause climate change in the world. Climate change has become a global problem due to its far-reaching effects. More enormous challenges are yet to be experienced, and the earlier the measures are taken, the better. Challenges such as increased sun heat, lack of water, increased temperatures, and destruction of the ecosystem. Many houses are also old and require renovation to regain their aesthetic value.
The solution to the challenges of climate change is developing measures that reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, and some of them are low-cost green housing. The lost cost of green system housing minimizes the emission of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases by itself, releasing an abundance of oxygen to absorb the emitted carbon dioxide and releasing none. The green system is ideal for the absorption of the carbon dioxide gases released into the environment. Green system housing is cost-effective since it entails using locally available green substances such as grasses, facades, fruits, and a wide range of vegetation. The housing systems involves the construction of green walls and green roofs. While the green system in housing offers a reduction of greenhouse gases, it also provides aesthetic value in building. Green systems are, therefore, suitable strategies for urban and rural rehabilitation and retrofitting. Such types of buildings improve the performance of the buildings and also restore the urban environment that is highly polluted and worn due to their age. As part of the sustainable building initiative, green systems housing will be the major initiative in the years to come.

Majorly, the street children are the majorly affected, and they spend all their life in the streets begging for money from the well-wishers. Moreover, three are people who, although they do not beg, sleep in the street for lack of affordable housing. Some individuals sleep in their cars, which has become their home since the cost of housing is high. Hence, the lack of affordable housing, unemployment, and poverty are significant contributors to homelessness. The affordability comes as a result of lacking unemployment and being poor; thus, all the problems lead to affordable housing. Coming up with affordable housing is a major challenge for many homeless individuals. Homelessness is isolating, devastating, and dangerous.
The solution to homelessness is developing and designing low-cost housing that can save a lot of money yet offer a house for the homeless. Low-cost housing creates affordability, and hence people can venture into building their own houses. However, affordable houses might be expensive for the homeless, and the accompanying initiative is to develop a charity plan that will allow people of goodwill to assist the less fortunate get a house.
