Introduction
The foundation of integrated business communication is based on integrated marketing communication (Raman & Singh, 2012). In any organization, executives form an essential part in management as they are charged with making outstanding decisions. The functions of the executive are essential in giving thoughtful considerations regarding the way to complete every single task. Integrated communication is significant in giving students adequate knowledge and general ideas of communication practices in the place of work.
Important Communication Issues
As an executive, the most significant communication issues I will face while embarking on my career is evaluating the familiarity of the people as far as technology and innovation options are concerned. There is a need to monitor the actions of the workers regarding the email content as well as a website accessed to offer protection to the company. Allowing employees to have access to the internet tends to bring with it several issues like having access to offensive materials; hence, monitoring can assist in counteracting such scenario.
As an executive, I need to beware of the dynamics of e-groups as well as how they differ from the groups that conduct their operations face to face. Another issue that I will be faced with is privacy concern because many questions will be raised concerning customer and worker privacy as far as technology and internet usage is concerned together with tracking record information and data (Raman & Singh, 2012). Another issue includes government compliance as well as regulation and litigation. For this case, as an executive, I am supposed to offer protection to the customers as well as the workers of my firm to ensure smooth operation.
Communication Complexity
Modern technology and innovation are taking off at a higher pace, and communication shall become more complex. Modern supervision which is the fundamental responsibility of an executive tends to experience pronounced communication challenges because executives are required to give confidence as well as encourage prosperous communication approaches. They should also connect with employees, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders at all levels. Executive's way of communication seems to be transforming dramatically for the last two decades (Kazmeyer, 2019). From mobile phones to the proliferation of computers, laptops, and smartphones, technology keeps on progressing in an extra versatile manner. Successful means to talk and the mode of using technological resources is as tricky as the tools of technology.
Role Technology in Communication of Thoughts and Ideas
Technology has played a significant role in the transformation of communication (Kazmeyer, 2019). On an equal measure, the invention of devices such as computers and laptops has contributed to the transformation of the business world. Introduction of wireless communication has widened the ways of communicating thoughts and ideas globally. One can use them in reaching out to my employees no matter where they will be. I will use Smartphones to increase productivity as well as extend the workday. The use of teleconferencing will help me to communicate my thoughts and ideas by saving t money that could have been spent on travel through connecting significant workers in many branches of the company together (Kazmeyer, 2019). Other roles include identification of the value of possible customers and potential customers, determining the returns on investment, evaluation of results, and development of communication messages for the end-user.
Our talent to communicate has transformed dramatically in the past two decades; from the beginning of the mobile phone towards the proliferation of processor computers, as well as then the nuptials of both into Smartphones. Given that technology continues to progress into extra versatile and successful ways to talk, the mode we use these processes is almost as difficult as the tools themselves. That's why, through the entrancement of social media services and latest technology sources, campaigner groups and communal institutions are finding alternative ways to increase their messages and manage their activities (Kazmeyer, 2019).
Resolution of the Information Gap between Education, Income levels, Cultures and Generations
Resolving the gap between generations requires selection of the right communication channels which can make the executive and the organization to be in the position of making changes following the needs of possible customers. The gap between two cultures can be resolved through fostering a good understanding, and the use of strong personal relationships as the gap between cultures can hinder mutual understanding and relationship among people (Zhang, 2010). A gap between two income levels can be resolved through Income segmentation. It can be conducted for several groups such as age, product type, as well as purchasing patterns among the customers. The gap in education can be resolved by offering education to human resources to confront the worldwide competition as well as new technology together with innovation (Zhang, 2010).
Statement of Personal Philosophy
With the usage of the benefits of integrated business communication in the marketing scenario, it can optimize the business strategies as well as approaches that will offer a playing ground for most creative, most productive and valuable wisdom together with awareness to conduct business.
