Relationship between Airpower, National Security and Warfare

National security is the critical driver that fosters the development and other governmental progress in a given nation through the enhancement of peaceful coexistence between all the parties within a given country. United States military is the main stakeholder spearheading national security issues through the prevention of the country against external aggressions and terrorism activities within. National security agencies work together through the interdisciplinary and multi-agency team to secure the country from any form of harm that might befall the country from external parties. This team involves the airpower, land army, and navy seals, which protect a country individually based on the assigned area of operation and accomplishing their military missions (Sebastian 34).

There is a strong existing relationship between these military aspects where the airpower, national security, and warfare, which links them to common missions they are established to execute. The security of a country entirely depends on these bodies to undertake their roles as required to avoid military overlap that might result in a military plunder and security loophole. Airpower being part of the national security team, is a significant body that protection of the state when the enemies or other uninvited parties invade the country's airspace. It is their responsibility to guide the sovereignty of the United States of America through the invested powers and duties in them by the civilians.

The binding relationship for these bodies is that one aspect leads to another for its operations. Airpower is the powerhouse and striking body during warfare that enhances destabilizing the enemy during the fighting period. The latter body uses various ammunitions military artilleries, and missiles to overpower the enemy during a clash since they have a better view (Schwiebert 62). They act as the pacesetters of wars as they can lead any military mission by using air force equipment such as jet fighters and powerful machine guns in fighting the enemy. The land power on the hand works on land tracking as they act as the finishers in the war. The land power captures the casualties and captives of wars from the enemy side during warfare for military interrogations and intelligence (Lonsdale 15). The relationship between these military entities yields a strong airpower triumph that sees the enemy loss war even on their doorsteps.

Airpower missions are normally considered successful after the enemy surrenders, and the military power takes over the territorial integrities and enemy hideouts forcefully by using military fire. Overrunning enemy camps by the military powers during a mission is a credit since it means that the enemies have surrendered and admit that the military forces overpower them staged for that particular mission (USAF Para. 5). The fighting military troops work in battalions that are well organized and discipline with a sole intention and goal of winning in the warfare, destabilizing the enemy, having warfare captives, and striking hard their camps. "Any attempt to capture the essence of activity as complex as war is self-evidently a large undertaking, and will ultimately fail to accurately reflect the true reality" (Lonsdale 20). With this set of gold and military strategies, the United States of America's airpower achieves its mission of fostering the national security of the country despite various security threats the country is facing due to enemy perceptions.

Practical Implications of the Relationship for Airmen

The relationships between this military machinery have implications on the servicemen (airmen) depending on the state of the relationship. Well calculated military strategies lead to a good relationship between the stakeholders involved in the warfare fighting a common enemy hence impacts positively on the airmen. Some of the key areas where such relationships affect the airmen positively during warfare are highlighted and discussed below:

Minimization of Casualties on the Military Side

One of the military objectives in a waterfront is to minimize the number of casualties to the minimum attainable levels possible on the military side and use every opportunity. This is in maximizing the casualties on the enemy side by applying all the appropriated military skills to evade enemy ammunitions during the exchange of fire (National Security Council Para. 4). Various fighting tactics that the airmen acquire during military training are essential in ensuring that they achieve such a goal. It is because they get exposed to harsh and adverse environmental conditions, which makes their bodies adapt to such situations and hence making the fight easier. "Train hard fight easy" is one of the USA's military airmen slogans that imply that the amount of rigorous training they get is useful to them during the war as they can outwit and defeat the enemy.

Maintenance of Fighting Discipline

Discipline during the war is essential as it enables the fighting forces to confront the enemy and overpower her easily. It entails proper utilization of available military regalia and strict adherence to the given rules of war from a single commandant. Airmen get motivated when they are united together by given specifications that bound them during warfare as proper coordination gives them an added advantage than their enemies (National Security Council Para. n.d). Therefore, a good relationship between airpower and national security is important for the troops in warfare since some common items also bound them as one fighting force.

Effective Flow of Fighting Commands from a Single and Reliable Source

Taking commands is another key necessity in the warfare by the airmen so that effective execution of the identified mission gets easily achieved with fewer casualties. Achieving this goal by the fighting military forces is enhances by taking the fighting commands from a single source that enhances minimize the confusion and wrong g moves in a battlefield (US-DoD). Appropriate commanding skills from the battalion or platoon commanders enable the infantries to have calculated moves in dealing with the enemy, especially in foreign terrain. The airstrike efficiency is also improved through proper commanding so that mistaken identity cases get avoided during such missions.

Successful Joint Military Operation

Airmen conduct a successful operation and salvage the impending situations at hand through the effective and efficient relationship between the airpower military wing, national security, and other strategic bodies (National Security Council Para. 6). It is achievable through the application of the inter-connection system principle, where all the forces involved in the operation works with a sole and common purpose. Mostly such a purpose is the ability to completely eradicate the obstacle or enemy, which acts as a stumbling block towards the United States of America achieving its desires. The United States of America's airpower has been categorized among the best military bodies globally based on several successful operations conducted in different parts of the world while fighting its enemies. This attribute has been bestowed on this body as a result of statistical analysis every time such forces go on an assigned mission and how they conduct such joint operations.

Since any warfare must bear casualties on both rival sides, the United States of America airpower has been recording low casualty counts due to the best strategies put in place to curb such unforeseen implications during warfare (National Defense Press n.d). They utilized the most advanced military equipment for land ambushes and air striking that leaves the enemy camps brought down into pieces. Highly skilled airmen and national security stakeholders contribute immensely towards the attainment of these joint military operations, which are fugitive on the enemy side with heavy casualties. Therefore with the application of this approach by the airmen and other stakeholders in joint operation missions in given warfare enables them an easy and skillful win over their enemies.

Conclusion

To sum up, the relationship that exists between the United States of America's airpower and national security teams plays a key role in conducting joint military operations that enables them to emerge the victors in the warfare. Some of the main items put in place by these military entities to enhance perennial win and defeating of the enemies are technology-based hence overpowering the enemies at hand in every military assault. Such strategies include discipline maintenance by the fighting military troops, urge to minimize casualties on the military side, effective and efficient flow of commands from a single source, and joint military operations by all the military units involved. With these strategies, they can crush down the enemy and cross over to the enemy lines after they are all down.
