Introduction
Arguably, female genitalia is presented as harmful and inferior to the male psyche. Fetishism arts aim at persuading laypeople and physicians to understand the origin and purpose of fetishism. Les Fetishes is translated in English as a fetish to mean an obsessive devotion or irrational reverence. Typically, the artwork attempt to convince the viewers of the relationship between sexual abnormalities and castration anxiety. In most instances, the artwork acknowledges that fetish is satisfying and pleasurable, and thus, it is treated as a relationally and less significant issue (Jacobsen & Kristiansen 87). However, fetishism leads to trauma and believe that they can lose male phallus. The division between authenticity and phoniness cannot be defined by assimilating the uniqueness of individuality possessed within the true self and following the true inner heart in a world full of temptation.
Fetishism leads to personal castration fears and internal struggles. In essence, an individual is reduced to battle with their own cognitive dissidence. As a perversion, fetishism is common in men whose genital discharge is nearly impossible. In reality, fetish comprises of many things where the basic types entail something odd, part of the human body, and inanimate objects. In this case, the odd things entail touch of velvet, rubber, and leather. The reason for switching to different masks is to help people to fit in every specific condition(Jacobsen & Kristiansen 85). A part of the body include breasts, legs, hair, hand, and foot (Dromm & Salter 34). An inanimate object entails objects such as underwear, gloves, shoes, and women's clothing.
Freud argues that some fetishes may completely be invisible to other people. In public places, it is more visible for a person to observe women's legs and shoes. However, one will always feel the guilt of being detected. In essence, a person may feel haunted by plainclothesmen more rapidly.
Ideally, fetish seems to rise from two common sources. In the first instance, a fetish is linked to a specific sexual style or object possessed by a sexually attractive individual. Here, a fetishist is attracted to a specific perfume. The other aspect is of that of an insecure man who fears rejection and is forced to use objects to substitute real objects. The two sources are useful in the artwork to connect the division between phoniness and authenticity in the real world. In real life, social interaction is integral to the people across the globe, fulfills their lives as human beings living intertwined with the fortune world and fame.
Phoniness
The puzzling and the fundamental question haunting people today is why there ceases to be a political and social center that seemed permanent and substantial? What was wrong? What did people lose? More importantly, phoniness is a piece of perfect porcelain or like a camouflage color of a specific chameleon living a mundane world. In other words, phoniness reveals perfect things and their worth in reality.
The notion of "wrongness" reveals that people were heading in the wrong direction or completely no direction. The only thing that people could understand was a sense of lateness. For instance, Africans would like to know how they were late to their historical function and greatness, which recede in the wake of the new initiative and power centers. The modern time seemed anticlimactic in the sense that the second half of the century's great competition was with people drifting far from the end with no moorings (Jacobsen & Kristiansen 84). In essence, people lacked the mooring that provided them with meaning and direction based on political culture.
People faced numerous challenges to push them forward. The society was marred with vulnerable myths that inspired them. The myths entail the grass-roots democracy efficacy, the beneficent cupidity' private exercises, and benevolent empire expansions. In reality, whatever the people were told were eclipsed, exhausted, and untruths. Such that everything that people knew were either too late or completely wrong or both.
Many events are taking place in the world, such as the influx of foreign labor, the collapse of social systems and health care, the movement of jobs abroad, the corporate world' internationalization, and change from goods to a services economy, which was more like a threat than promises. When the political system failed to cope with the issues adequately, people sought to political guru. In this context, the political guru who restored the people to revitalize institution and hold barbarian outside the gate. In the past, before the concepts of culturology, economy, and history, many people felt helpless.
The concept of "helplessness" is derived from the notion that something was wrong. The overwhelming and the nagging feeling that systematic and individual effort to overcome helplessness, reverse entropy, and right wrongs via common effort towards functional objective was beyond human reach. When society studies across the spectrum, it reveals that the relations are based on trust and how the relationship is ruled by the use of confidence. Such that, people will have faith in people they have full surety about in their lives endeavors. Confidence is placed when the person is perceived to be effective and honest. Trusted people produce hope and faith to the people.
In a social context, confidence placement creates a mutually beneficial exchange of the transaction. The people wear masks since there is a desire to be perfect, where the desire subconsciously excludes all imperfection. Ideally, confidence can be asked, and at the same be given where they are not misplaced in both cases (Dromm & Salter 24). A man's confidence is an important concept of human virtue where needs are converted into wants.
A man and woman confidence fascinate people since it makes people develop the ability to persuade people. The con artists exploit social relations uncertainty via doing the things in ways they should do it, convincing people to think, and conning act. In reality, conning is not evil or criminal, but it appears more persuasive. The art of conning men is done in a manner that would make some people believe.
Tragedy of Authenticity
Authenticity means searching for anything real. However, authenticity is invented, imagined, possibly created, dynamic, socially constructed, and subjective. Authenticity tragedy is a topic that everyone needs to reflect upon. In essence, the division between authenticity and phoniness cannot be defined by assimilating the uniqueness of individuality possessed within the true self and following the true inner heart in a world full of temptation. People need to confer to a specific brand while seeking to construct identity or solve problems to them authenticity. Since the tragedy of authenticity is socially constructed, the expression of authenticity does reflect social form. Although authenticity is subjective in nature, it is more likely to distinguish consistent expression or themes of authenticity across subcultures and cultures from a broader perspective. The tragedy of authenticity can be explored by identity retrieval, prejudice on authenticity, and assimilation of uniqueness.
One of the tragedies of authenticity is globalization-the increase in cross border migration, trade, and exposure to local economies. People may fail to understand their place in a global world since the faraway forces may interfere with personal circumstances. For instance, the financial crisis experience across the globe justifies the way people struggle to understand how stockbrokers' decisions and banks can impact their lives.
The other aspect of the tragedy of authenticity is deterritorialization. In this context, people are allowed to move from one place to another. As they progress, people experience different cultures, such as lose connection, food, entertainment, and art (Dromm & Salter 34). For instance, people may be surprised by the culture in other countries.
Hyperreality is another tragedy of authenticity. In this context, the daily increase in stylization life outcomes causes more difficulties in determining what is correct and that which is wrong. Notably, it is more likely to occur in guerilla, viral, and advertorial campaigns.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the notion of "wrongness" reveals that people were heading in the wrong direction or a completely no direction. The only thing that people could understand was a sense of lateness. However, there is a need to search for anything real, invented, imagined, possibly created, dynamic, socially constructed, and subjective to become perfect. Fetish seems to rise from two common sources. In the first instance, a fetish is linked to a specific sexual style or object possessed by a sexually attractive individual. The other aspect is of that of an insecure man who fears rejection and is forced to use objects to substitute real objects
