Blockchain AI has an openly distributed ledger that efficiently records transactions between two factions in a permanent and verifiable way. A Peer to peer network manages the blockchain by adhering to the inter-node communication protocol and validates new blocks. Alexa is an artificial intelligence-based service that has risen to become the hub of smart homes. Its usefulness and exceptional ability to decrypt speech across a room have made it a life-changing product that may help users furbish web data, schedule appointments, shop, and set alarms, among other things. Alexa also helps in powering smart homes making this evolving technology an essential need for people with limited mobility
Indicators of artificial intelligence potential for disruption include decision making that is subjected to human biases. These are issues of fairness and transparency with AI systems because they are widely distributed. Machine learning models and neural networks are created using big historical data, algorithms, and AI models that may be encapsulated in existing human biases prejudices about sex, gender, sexuality, race, and other social biases (Jordan and Mitchell 257). Another indicator of potential disruption is the consideration of privacy and accuracy of AI systems taking on increasing importance with AI's widespread use. Especially when using facial recognition is concerned, most people accept facial recognition to identify criminals, but they can be inaccurate mostly when identifying people of color or women resulting in the accusation and arrest of citizens for a crime unknown to them. Privacy issues in facial recognition are also rampant as the technology offers corporations or governments the ability to spot ant track people on a widespread basis.
What actions should companies take and how urgent are the issues?
Companies should harness evolving technologies to unlock several benefits for their past labor substitution. Successfully adopting the technologies will enhance performance significantly and can be a vital competitive advantage and distinguisher. Labor substitution will establish some gains, but productivity may potentially be enhanced by automation, improve predictions, accuracy, optimization, and outcomes, and raise throughput. It will also increase the realization of new solutions in a complex area like material science and synthetic biology. It is an urgent issue because adopting these technologies will also improve safety and quality, and give opportunities to establish other business models that could unlock the unlikely combination of agility and scale. It creates the ability to generate changes within a whole organization instantly.
Companies should also focus on AI scenarios that add more value by ensuring the digital enables qualifies. Since AI's potential disruption is high, new AI-powered entrants can take on veterans a win just as Lyft and Uber in the taxi industry. AI goes beyond transforming the business process and changes the whole business model, where non-believers of AI are left behind. Companies must perform an in-depth analysis of AI's most valuable use cases, and embrace capabilities and support digital assets
Apple
Using AI, Apple has been successful in attacking existing companies to give their customers better experiences. Apple's AI personal assistant is Siri. She a computer activated with a friendly voice that the user uses to get directions, find information, and adds events to calendars, sending messages, and much more. She is a personal digital assistant with pseudo intelligence. Using machine learning technology, she gets better and smarter and can understand and predict the user's requests and questions. All other existing companies do not have this feature making Apple is successful because it makes it easy for the user to navigate. It also communicates with the user using natural language, making it the preferable technology compared to existing ones.
