Introduction
The paper begins with the use of a combination of short and long sentences. Such integration does not only make the reading enjoyable but also blends well with any reader- whether knowledgeable or not. The use of simple English words instead of jargon accompanied by short precise abstract eases the reader of the challenge of comprehension of the content. Again, the author has also employed the use of rhetorical questions in the abstract, which acts as a hook to the reader. The rhetorical questions enable the reader to formulate imaginary answers as well as promise them of the expectations later on in the paper. The rhetorical questions such as, 'can the application of fungi be used to prevent the loss of ecosystems effectively? Would it be safe to use fungi?' enable the reader to develop some imaginary responses that help in understanding the various concepts
However, the main weakness of the work is that it does not provide adequate evidence at the introduction to prove his/ her competing claims. For instance, the lack of enough evidence from relevant literature deprives the paper authenticity, especially in the introductory paragraph. Again, the case studies provided by the author are slightly confusing since he/she uses technical microbiological terms with the assumption that the readers understand such terms. As such, some portions of the content could be more useful to professional microbiologists than any ordinary reader interested in the basic idea of the fungal perspective of addressing desertification due to climate change. Lastly, the conclusion of the work is based on the technical understanding of the fungi. The adoption of words like arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi may be confusing to the normal reader.
Economic activities driving deforestation of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest that lead to soil degradation
Gabriela Inigo
The author of this work displays a short and precise abstract, accompanied by some necessary information about the nature of the content of his/ her work. From the onset, the reader can get a picture of the nature of his work by simply following how he/she integrates the element of economics into the protection of essential ecosystems such as the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. As such, the work seems pleasantly understandable to both the knowledgeable and the average reader. The other strength of this work is that the author has intensively cited recent findings by other scholars, especially in the introduction section. This gives the work a strong foundational basis for his arguments as well as enhanced authenticity. Again, the author presents less monotonous paragraphs that remain captivating for the readers across the work. Almost every section of his work gives a new idea; thus, the reader is not likely to lose interest and attention while reading the work.
However, the main weakness is that, in some instances, the author deviates from using the technical terms and jargon that make the work less understandable at some points. Again, the conclusion part of the work is quite long, thus do not serve it the purpose of briefly capturing the main aspects of the argument. The content of the case studies was also confusing since the author assumed that all the readers understand all aspects of agriculture, such as the minerals and other soil parameters like PH.
Bats Provide Useful Insight about Survival and Transmission of Viral Illness
Madison Mollico
The most overwhelming strength of this article is how the author declares his/her intention at the onset. For instance, he begins by informing the audience of his purpose of investigating how the bats are likely to provide useful insights on the survival and transmission of various viral illnesses. I find this fantastic how the author explicitly explains the relationship between the bat and the transfer of zoonotic infections. Again, the author does the introduction is a simple and straightforward manner characterized by limited use of technical terms and jargon. I also find the content of the work as relevant and phenomenal as it generally covers the current global concern of the COVID-19. As such, in my opinion, the work may be viewed to have passed the content validity test. This work has also referred to various relevant literature to back up vital arguments and concepts.
However, even though the author uses simple terms to explain the different complex concepts of the work, the main content of this paper seems challenging to any ordinary reader. For instance, I discovered the adoption of specific technical terms such as immunology, biochemistry, and zoonotic- which could be challenging to any usual reader. The work also contains long paragraphs characterized by long sentences that may be too monotonous to any reader.

Jamie Irby
In my opinion, the most significant strength of this work is that the author has intensively cited recent findings by other scholars, especially in the introduction section. This gives the work a strong foundational basis for his arguments as well as enhanced authenticity. He/She also displays a short and precise abstract accompanied by some necessary information on the nature of the content of his/ her work. This has significantly eased the monotony of having to read long paragraphs to capture essential aspects of the work. The most crucial strength again of this work is the combination of short and long sentences in work. Such integration does not only make the reading enjoyable but also blends well with any reader- whether knowledgeable or not.
However, weaknesses that, at some point, the author uses technical terms and jargon that may not be understood easily by any ordinary reader. For instance, in the case study, he/she adopts words such as thermophysiological effects, UV-B radiations, and viral encephalitides. Even though these terms blend with the general intention of the paper, any ordinary reader may find them confusing, thus hindering successful conceptualization. The author assumes that all the readers understand the various health concepts impacted upon by climate change- which may be misleading.
