Global economic procedures have led to the need for secure information encompassing enhanced communication, elasticity, novelty, and organizational learning, all of which aim to improve staff performance and productivity. Unavoidably, this has led to "information-revolution. "Sending encouraging messages to employees/staff is part of what is referred to as "information-revolution" (Webb, 2019). Freeman further argues that sending encouraging messages has a link to staff performance as well as productivity. This is based on the notion or instead derived from the idea that the more information provided to the staff member, the better the anticipation of productivity and improved work performance (Webb, 2019).The need for the well-organized but reasonably priced channel of communication, for sharing encouraging messages increases electronic interaction.
Motivation is an important part of understanding employee behavior, psychology, desire and expectations (Robescu & Iancu, 2016). Organizational goals are unattainable unless the management department of a company motivates the employees. The employees are influenced by motivation to satisfy their needs, safety and job security. If the employee can participate in the organization decision making, it will be beneficial to the organization in getting new ideas and finding out the talented and skilled personnel. Decision making allows the employees to realize their own identity and actions (Andriana, Riyanto, & Darmawan, 2019).
Another important thing is productivity. Productivity is the production capacity of the employees in an organization (Hagiwara, 2018). There is a relationship between motivation and productivity. Motivated employees are committed to the organization. They always try to maintain the quality of the goods as well as increase the organization productivity level. As a result they can easily achieve the organizational goal. Motivated employees are satisfied with their work.
Research methods
Participants
In researching the topic essay, for this purpose, data will be collected through a questionnaire from the employees working in a bank. The bank will be chosen randomly. The recruitment criteria that will be used is to sample 35 employees working within the teller department of the bank chosen.
Independent and dependent variable In evaluating the construct validity, assess the construct validity of staff productivity. In the above banking institution, this research essay will rely upon or instead perform a differential-groups study. This will compare the scores of the white bank employees in their 30's who receive encouraging messages from their computers as well as the bank employees that will not receive supportive messages from their computers. If the group that productivity scores higher on the productivity test than the group without encouraging words, this is confirmation of the construct validity.
Dependent variable that this research will be based on is the ability of the employee to perform or employee's productivity after being sent encouraging messages on their computers. The productivity test will be conducted based on the variable (employee's productivity) vis-a-vis the encouragement texts sent to their networks. The psychological construct for this variable will be the staff member's ability to work fast as well as stress levels. The independent variable to be used by this research will encompass the act of not sending encouraging messages to the staff member's computers to see whether the employee's productivity or performance will improve. The independent variable m manipulated by the researcher to know the impact on productivity in employees would be the act of not sending encouraging messages.
Research Methodology
Overview
This section of the research paper will outline the research design that we will use, the data collection method used, the research design, procedure of collecting the data, and the data analysis. In addition, a brief discussion concerning the limitations of the study will be included.
Research Design
A research design is the plan for collecting and analyzing data in a manner that combining relevance to the research purpose with economy in procedure. The research design for this research will be a descriptive survey through questionnaire.
Sample Design/plan
Sample size: 50 Respondents
Techniques: Simple Random Sampling
Measurement Scaling: Nominal Scale
Method of questionnaire: Survey Method
Type of research: Conclusive Research (Descriptive)
Sources of Data
Primary source: Field Work
Secondary source: Internet, Web Browsing, Books
We will collect the data from different people through a structured questionnaire: a survey. Respondents will give their answers as the options are given to them.
Procedure
When undertaking this experimental research, it would be very significant to monitor the experimental and control groups (bank tellers) extremely intimately, especially when they are sent or not sent the text messages encouraging them to their computers. The control group will aid this research in observing the changes in the work productivity/stress level of the bank tellers due to both independent and dependent variables, as such changes may be very apparent.
Data analysisWhen the sample population fills all the questionnaires, the raw data will be filled in a Microsoft excel spreadsheet. This will help in eliminating all data entry errors, which might have resulted from the survey chosen. A better data Analysis tool may be used, for instance, the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). This raw data will then be subjected to quantitative analysis.
SPSS will aid in the data analysis since it aids in a better quality data analysis and can handle a broader quantitative data. It can also enable us to conduct a range of statistical tests quickly and accurately, while being able to present the findings in the form of tables and graphs (McCormick & Salcedo, 2017). Graphical representation of data is a useful tool in describing data in a way that enables patterns and relationships to be fathomed in a way that is not apparent in raw data.
DiscussionTo recap on the objectives of this study, we need to ascertain the relationship between the encouragement and of employee and their performance. A linear regression analysis mod...
