In the second line, "not only can the body work out but also the idea of global citizenship will float" Personification is evident. The author uses the words "will float" to imply the effect badminton has in enhancing global citizenship. Floating here means that the effect will be visible to everyone.

The third line is made of colour descriptions "black white yellow brown" used to show cultural diversity. We also see the use of the poetic device of hyperbole. The application of the word yellow in this sentence is an exaggeration. No person can be described as yellow. The author uses this to show the differences in complexion. Lines four and five use the ordinary simple language to pass the idea that "not just the colour of their clothes, different communities get together for the same goal". The author here shows that people from different countries can be brought together in the badminton game.

In the sixth line, the author says that "one birdie contains many cultures more that we know". This line shows the idea that the badminton game can accommodate people from many cultures and beliefs. The stylistic device used here is connotation. The word cultures here is used to imply the views as well as religious inclination. Lines seven and eight demonstrate the use of rhyme. I these two lines "21 birdie no matter where they will go, buddy handshake before they know", we see rhyme in the last words "go" and "know". Rh6yme gives the poem a musical tone (saussy, 2016).

In line nine, "Birdie become brighter because birdie brings buddy beyond before", we see the use of alliteration. This is brought about by the use of consonant sound "b" in words making up the sentence. The author uses this to show that the badminton game can bring old friends together as well as making new friends. In line ten, the author sums up his ideas by saying "Hope the birdie can fly around the world". Here, personification is used in giving birdie the ability to "fly around the world". The author uses this to express optimism that the influence of the game will spread the world over.
