The IPCC meeting took place in October 2018, where the participants agreed that mitigating global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius as possible. Reducing global warming from two to 1.5 degrees Celsius requires rapid transition across all sectors that include transport, land use, industrial operation and energy. Human beings are necessary to reduce carbon dioxide emission by forty-five per cent by 2030 and extend to zero production by 2050 to achieve the target. Therefore, carbon dioxide will need to be removed from the air to balance with the remaining greenhouse gas emissions.

Global warming of 1.5 degrees Celsius will bring back sea ice in the Arctic Ocean and maintain the coral reefs. Limiting the effects of global warming will allow human beings and the ecosystem more space to adapt to possible risks of climate change.
