Introduction

However, God is not like a man even though he is portrayed as human and man has several characteristics like those of God (Hurtado, 2005)). God is righteous and holy. God is believed as being attached to a body although he forgives, thinks, and feels just like people do. God's love is the one that made him send Jesus to die for human sins. God created earth and heaven, night and morning, darkness, water and land, seasons, water animal, human, land animal, stars, years and days (Genesis 1).

Humanity: What is human nature? What is the human purpose? What is the root cause of human problems?

God created human using his image. Humans are able to love as a result of been made using the image of God who represents love (1 John 4:16). God is the creator of everything that has life and he made human through making use of his image that human can be compassionate, patient, understanding, and have several feelings which enable human to perform various tasks as a result of liking it or opting not to go another place since human do not want to. God was the one who took pride in humans and gave them the gift of reasoning. There is no other creation that has such ability. At first, God created man through using his image and then created woman from the rib of a man. Through doing this good, it enables women and men to have more reasoning and live on the earth. The cause of all issues may be all traced back to Eve and Adam when they were at the Garden of Eden eating the forbidden fruit. This act resulted in several consequences that include the issues that human face today.

Jesus reveals who he is throughout the bible which is seen mostly in the book of Revelation. Revelation 1:8 states "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, said the Lord, which is, and who was, and which is to come, the Almighty". Moreover, Jesus revealed who he was through doing much in proving that he was the son of God. Jesus illustrated ways people are expected to follow God's teachings. The purpose of Jesus coming to the world is serving and providing his life in for of a sacrifice meant to save humans from their sins. Jesus saved many people and he proved to humans he was indeed the son of God as he proclaimed. Mark 2:1-12 provides the story regarding ways in which Jesus healed and forgave a man who was unable to walk. In the story, people never believed that Jesus had the same capacity of God to heal. Jesus work and identity sow not only reasons why it was significant for God to offer his only son to the world to provide an example of the ways that human require living their lives.

According to Goheen & Bartholomew, (2008), some of the human issues that people face involve being separated from God and others as a result of sin and being held bondage to the sins that humans have. The solution to the human problems of being eternally separated from God was through having God sending Jesus with the purpose of sacrificing for the humans' sins. Humans think of salvation, faith, and grace by referring to the teachings of the bible. For example, John 3:16 emphasizes, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.", and Ephesians 2: 8-9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Thus, God gave his son for the purpose of repaying human sins which are a way that enables humans to acquire God faith and grace in the things that are unknown or unseen by humans. Transformation usually occurs when humans start accepting Christ, admitting sin and seeking forgiveness through repentance. Successful transformation enables people to begin living eternal life in heaven.

Analysis: Analyze the Christian worldview by addressing each of the following questions: What are the benefits or strengths of Christian belief? What is troublesome or confusing about Christianity? How does Christianity influence a person's thinking and behavior?

Being a Christian enables God to provide several valuable gifts as a result of trusting in Jesus. Christians are forgiven their wrongdoings and sins. Once a Christian is on the appropriate path, they automatically acquire a friend, comforter, and have the reassurance that there is someone who is caring about them. Christians acquire a sense of inner joy and peace. Christians may take the worries and burdens to God which makes him an adviser and reliever (Murphy, 2012). Despite these benefits of Christianity, it also comes with certain confusion. The major confusion is the bible as the exact meaning cannot be known hence it depends on individual understanding. The other confusion is that of the type of Christianity. There exist multiple denominations in Christianity which has different beliefs. Christianity influences the behavior and thinking of a person in their daily lives. Christianity can determine a person's decision, ways in which they view others, feelings, and actions.

Several religions illustrate that they usually believe in God in their prayers and the religious customs that they have. I am a Christian. I have a firm belief in God and Jesus Christ. Every day I try my level best to be closer to God through reading the Bible and following its teachings. I always repent the sins that I have committed and try to remain on a clean path. I assist people in areas where I can. Even if I am not doing everything I can to become close to God, I always try being a better Christian.

According to the Christian worldviews, God is pure and all that describes him enables Christian to make the decision of welcoming him in the world. Humans were created using God's image and as a result of Adam and Eve disobeying the wish of God made the world the way it is today. The purpose of Jesus coming to the world was forgiving us our sins and teaching God's ways for humans to secure eternal life. Even if God provides Christian with a lot of things that should make them believe in him, there remains confusion in the religion. For one to be a better Christian, they are expected living their life out as being a Christian following the teachings of the bible.
