Types of networks, their scope/size (from PAN (Personal Area Network) to WAN (Wide Area Network), e.g., the Internet, the different types of configuration of computing devices, e.g., client-server, star, bus, ring, mesh, hybrid (star-bus, star-ring) (Jar, 2020). The tutors also talk about storage devices and Big Data matters, e.g., hard drives, flash disks, servers with different capabilities from kilobytes(kb) to Petabytes (Pb), i.e., 1 trillion kilobytes (Jar, 2020).

One can also install; firewalls and anti-viruses to combat hackers and harmful software, respectively.
