Introduction
Different types of groups in society have a diverse culture that acts as their identity. The military has its own culture that has both similarities and differences with that of the civilians. In this paper it is essential to compare the military culture and civilian culture, Also it is vital to analyze a case study based on cultural diversity.
Part 1: Describe and Compare/ Contrast Military Culture with Civilian Culture
Formality and social customs
The military is bound by rules and regulations that are clearly stipulated under the Uniform Code of the Military Justice. They abide by similar creed and values depending on the service they perform. However, the civilians abide by the values and behavior based on personal beliefs and influence from the external environment (Gallus et al., 2014).
Style of Dress
The Military is always on a uniform which helps to mask their identity. The civilians do not need any uniform for identity. They have the choice to dress officially or casually (Gallus et al., 2014).
Time
Solders use their time as planned by their leaders. They remain employees of the state 24 hours a day. They are officially on call and they have not had a call-off choice. However, the civilians have flexible time/ they can choose when and where to work (Gallus et al., 2014).
Tolerance for Conflict
The military has can effectively resolve conflict better than civilians. They have manpower and resources to create stability and peace (Gallus et al., 2014).
Gender Roles
Historically, women have been confined to domestic chores and lesser opportunities in society over. However, the culture has been changing and women have been raising the top in both military and civilian organizations (Gallus et al., 2014).
High and low context
High context communication may focus on nonverbal communication and nonverbal cues. Low context relies on implicit communication. The military culture relies o the high context while the civilians rely on the lower context (Gallus et al., 2014).
Power Distance
Power-sharing can be defined as the degree of inequality among a particular group. Power-sharing in the military is based on the hierarchical structure. Those on top of the hierarchy must receive full respect from the subordinates. However, there is no clear structure on power distance among the civilians (Gallus et al., 2014).
Individualism
Military culture call for collectivism in regard to Group cohesion, interdependency, and group orientation unlike in civilian organizations (Gallus et al., 2014).
Uncertainty Avoidance
Uncertainty avoidance indicates the degree to which a group of people prefers the structured d the unstructured situations. The structured situations outline the specific behavior of a particular group. The military group relies on structured situations while the civilians rely on unstructured situations (Gallus et al., 2014).
Masculinity
Masculinity involves the level of assertiveness, performance, and success and competition that I exhibited by a certain group. The military personnel display high levels of masculinity than the civilians (Gallus et al., 2014)
Future Orientation
Both the military culture and the civilians embrace future-oriented values such as perseverance and thrift (Ispas, & Tudorache, 2018).
Which Cultural Difference Between These Two Cultures Is Likely To Provide The Biggest Challenge When Business Teams From Both Cultures Work Together?
The difference in time culture can be a big hurdle among the two different cultures. The civilian culture has a flexible time, unlike the military culture that works on scheduled time. The two groups may not have adequate time to make lengthy business discussions. The issue of high and low context can also be a challenge in business. The two groups use a different form of communication and which may hinder the flow of information from one group to another.
How to Improve Challenges When Communicating across these two Cultures
The use of face to face communication can help to ease the communication challenges across the two cultures; Face to face communication enhances personal interactions between the two groups (Gallus et al., 2014).
Ethical Issues that Might Arise When Doing Business between these two Different Cultures
Some of the ethical issues that might arise may be related to conflict of interest and, lack of transparency in the business process (Ispas, & Tudorache, 2018).

As a business manager, I would train my employees on how to promote appreciation of culture in the various places they ought to visit. This way, employees would be ready to adjust to the diversity of culture in different places.

It is important to respect the diversity of culture. Despite that, the situation is a threat to gender equality the organization has no choice but to do respect the new culture.
Possible Consequences That might Occur Following the Response
One of the possible reactions may be the employees' reaction to show her disapproval of the discrimination. Being her first time to experiences such a culture should she may become demoralized to perform her job,

Alleviate the conflicts, the management should do a thorough cultural background to areas and train their employees on how to adapt to the new culture.
