Amazon.com Inc. is an international e-commerce company that has its headquarters In Seattle, United States of America. The company is the world's largest internet retailer with millions of customers worldwide and is considered to be at the forefront of e-commerce. Since its incorporation in 1994, the company has expanded from being a simple online book store to providing web services to online retailers and storage solutions. Jeff Bezos is credited with founding the company. Through technological innovation, Amazon has grown to become one of the most economically influential and valuable companies in the world (Hyken, 2017).

Amazon is regarded as one of the big four technological companies along; Microsoft, Apple, and Google. The company majors on e-commerce, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, consumer electronics, digital distribution, and self-driving cars ("About Amazon," n.d.). Amazon's main aim is to provide excellent and high-quality services to its customers by continually improving customer experience using technology and the internet to find and buy anything they might need ( Hyken, 2017 ). Their vision primarily focuses on the global domination of the world's retail system. A set of leadership principles leads the entire company: customer obsession, high standards, frugality, curiosity, invent and simplify, ownership, and others ("About Amazon," n.d.).

When it comes to products and services, Amazon has surpassed Walmart as the most valuable retailer in the United States (Hyken, 2017). The company that began as an online market place for goods has scaled up to selling electronic software, video games, furniture, and even jewelry. Through prime video, Amazon music and audible Amazon has been able to distribute videos audiobooks and music to customers worldwide. Amazon's target market is customers who have internet access and have financial paying tools such as debit cards and credit cards. The broadness of Amazon's services has allowed them to access a large target market as compared to their competitors. Amazon has also used convenience and anticipation to surpass their competitors. Using Amazon prime, the company can make deliveries within hours at most two days, making them very convenient. Amazon Echo is designed as an anticipation of what customers might need whether it is obtaining music or ordering pizza (Chaffey, 2020)

Amazon has 310 million active customer accounts worldwide. In the US alone, Amazon occupies 49.1% of the online retail market, which is 5% of the overall retail market. The customers are diverse, ranging from men to women, different races around the world, and on different continents. Amazon's various products apply to all sorts of people creating a larger market share for them. Amazon values their customers, and they show this through their excellent customer service. Through its customers, Amazon has been able to facilitate the growth of new entrepreneurs by selling their products. It is courtesy of customers that Amazon follows a customer-obsessed policy (Chaffey, 2020). On matters of Christianity, Amazon upholds an anti-religious policy as they have customers from different religions worldwide. Instead, Christian business ethics are supported by employees as they seek to serve their customers to the best of their abilities. Amazon also sells Christian literature to customers worldwide ("About Amazon," n.d.)

In conclusion, Amazon remains a model company that has embraced innovation to improve its clients' and employees' lives. The company's actions gear towards attracting customers through the quality of services, availability of needed products, assurance of delivery, and addressing customer feedback. Through these factors and great leadership, Amazon has grown to become a multinational company where millions of customers flock every year.
