The Room I liked

Features

My high school room where we used to meet as the environment club was one of a kind. I fancied its shape, which was squared in structure. The room's heating and air conditioning systems were well maintained to reduce the noises that result from them. Its walls were painted white hence maintaining a calm environment within the room. The floor was filled with white and black dotted tiles, which appeared appealing and cute to me. The room chairs were arranged in columns which are well-spaced to enhance effortless movement. Also, the chairs had backs that offer support for the lumbar region in the lower (Noe & Kodwani, 2018). The ceiling was ten-foot-high, a height that I mostly prefer.

Ability to Learn

The features of these rooms enhanced my ability to learn in different manners. The less noise in the place improved audibility, and I could hear my trainer without a lot of strain. The white color made the room cool hence reducing boredom. The chair arrangement made it easier for me to see the trainer and participate in the discussion (Noe & Kodwani, 2018). The chairs back enhanced support of my lower lumbar region hence improving my concentration during the training. The smooth movement in the room reduced destruction during the lesson.

The Room I Disliked

Features

The room we use for our human resource course training, I tend to hate it. It is not because of the course or the trainer, but its features and layout. The room air conditioning systems make some noises that are so destructive. Also, the adjacent room used for music training produces a sound that reduces the audibility of the trainer. I do not like the blacks and brown shades since they close the room psychologically, making me feel fatigued while the session is proceeding (Noe & Kodwani, 2018). The electrical outlets are unavailable; therefore, I cannot plug in my laptop during the training. It is very inconvenient to me since I like reading for myself to move together with the trainer's note and update where necessary.

Improvements

The features can be improved to make the room a better place to learn through ensuring maintenance has been done to the air conditioning systems to reduce the noise. Also, the walls should be painted in white to enhance a cooling environment within the room to minimize boredom and fatigue. Also, the electrical plugs should be adequately available and in proper working condition.

Conclusion

It is vivid from the discussion that the features and layout of a room can enhance the learning ability. The several characteristics of good training sites have been clearly illustrated, like being comfortable and accessible. Also, it should be quiet, free from interruptions, and private (Noe & Kodwani, 2018). Finally, it should have adequate space for trainees to go around smoothly.
